About this house rental
Our house is light, spacious and comfortable and is perfect for relaxing or using as a base for all the water sport activities on offer near to the village. When the tide is up you can canoe, kayak or sail from the house, and there are many fabulous beaches within 10 miles of our house, either on the North coast of the South coast. We are also right on the Bissoe Cycle trail which means you can cycle from the house all the way to the North Coast. If you are looking for a quieter time, then you can sit on the deck and watch the wildlife.

The views from the Boathouse are beautiful emphasised with amazing sunrises and sunsets. This was the perfect place for our 3 generation family gathering. Ample room with over sized bedrooms for everyone to relax. Location was perfect to explore all of west Cornwall making travel times short so we are spending our time at the destination not in the car to it!!Fiona and Dave are fantastic hosts, easy to communicate with and extremely organized. This is a wonderful very well appointed house.

Such a beautiful home right on the river. We stayed as a group of friends after our wedding and it could not have been better. Easy contactless check-in, and were able to get in easy. Good communication via text from the owner. Great kitchen facilities and at the property in general, including use of the kayak and BBQ. Sitting on the decking or in the living room and watching the birds will stay with me a very long time. Hopefully we will be back some day!

We had a fantastic stay at the Boathouse. Amazing views up the creek and a lovely place to stay. All the rooms were large and beautifully kept. The bedrooms were all really comfortable and stylish. The location is perfect for getting around (especially if you're not a fan on tiny Cornish roads) with a great bus route if you don't want to park the car in Truro or Falmouth. One of the group hired a bike from Bissoe to cycle the trails coast to coast.
There were plenty of games to keep a family entertained and the kitchen was really well equipped.
The hosts were helpful and clear with instructions. Honestly can't recommend it enough.

Lovely relaxing time. Fantastic views and great swims in the river in front of the house. Great kick around of football on the samphire pitch across the river. House very well catered didn't need anything that wasn't there. Nice local pub to walk to if you don't fancy cooking. Proper coffee machine much appreciated. would happily return.
