We would go again.

We had a lovely time. Loved the location on the beach and within walking distance to a nice restaurant. The staff was helpful and nice. The only reason I gave it 9 stars instead of 10 is because there is no air conditioning. We were there in October, so that wasn't a problem, but it could be in the summer. The rooms have large windows that open, which we enjoyed.

The hotel is in a great location, across from the Pacific Ocean, the staff is friendly and helpful. I accidentally left some items behind, they called me within and hour to let me know and promptly mailed them back to me. The rooms are charming, big, comfortable and breakfast is delivered to your room!

Travelling with friends I chose Blue Dolphin Inn because of its location - have stayed in Cambria before - & its proximity to Hearst Castle. The location is excellent just across the road from the Pacific ocean with the beach and walking path easily accessible, it also very close to a restaurant thats serves great food. Check-in was very quick and he staff member was friendly and engaging offering advice about the area and places to visit. The room was large, spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable. We were only there the one night, however we all had an excellent stay and would not hesitate in recommending this Inn to family or friends should they be visiting the area.

Breakfast was a little disappointing the fruit compote excellent but the burritos were just ok. Just wondering if there might be the option offering say croissant as an alternative to the burritos?

The complimentary grab and go breakfast was lovely

My husband was too warm, no air con in the room, there was a fan which was fine for me. When he mentioned it to the reception they suggested he opened a window, which he had during the early hours.After travelling for 14 days on a motorbike with minimal clothing the complimentary housecoats where much appreciated to relax in after showering

Perfectly peaceful!

Nice, homey, convenient place to stay on Moonstone Beach. Beach walkway just across the street. Ocean front room are very nice and beautiful views. Even though on second floor, hotel lobby is in the back which is the second floor so no need to carry luggage up a flight of stairs. Wished we could have stayed longer.

The room was very comfortable and it was right across the street from the ocean. I love being able to see the water every day. The breakfasts were also quite generous and yummy. Would love to come back to the blue dolphin in the future.

It’s perfect. Wish it was a little cheaper but sometimes you have to realize you get what you pay for. Very sturdy building. Room stayed warm even though it was freezing and windy outside. Love the breakfast scrambles!! Comfortable bed!!

Our room had a view of the ocean, which was unexpected, but really nice.. We loved being able to just walk across the road to the boardwalk along the ocean. Having a nice restaurant within walking distance was great. We will definitely recommend this hotel to friends.

The receptionist neglected to tell us how to turn on the electric fireplace for heat and the room was a little chilly.

Great place to relax!

We loved the inn's location! It was right across from the ocean, and close to a dinner spot we walked to on our first night. Every day we had breakfast delivered to our room (this is standard) which we selected the night before from a list of choices. The inn was quiet, relaxing, close to Hwy 1 and a nearby "downtown." Easy drive to Hearst Castle and other sites.

Amazing and comfortable.

The rooms were very spacious and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The Inn was extremely quiet even though the rooms were full. The location is amazing. Depending on your room, you can have an ocean view, a partial ocean view, or no view. The ability to wake up and have your breakfast delivered and the time you specify is outstanding. Looking forward to our next visit.
