The location was fine for access to Capitol Reef NP. The bed, pillows and towels were comfortable. The room was clean and fresh. Easy parking. A/C/Furnace was adequate. A nice treat in providing a little plastic ducky for the bathtub if you had small children.
Disappointed comp breakfast was discontinued a few months previously. The spa jets were not working so no desire to use it. No elevator for 2nd floor. Daytime front desk person only available on check out by calling an 818 area code and having a phone call. Also all motel/hotels should have a wall-mounted magnifying mirror.

Perfect location to explore Capitol Reef, Fish Lake area and Boulder Mountain. There is a Subway, convenience store and gas station adjacent to the hotel which is helpful especially in winter when many restaurants are closed for the season. The indoor hot tub was great after a long day hiking. The room was spacious and comfortable. Lamar, the front desk attendant was very helpful with everything and always greeted us with a big smile and great advice. We loved our time here and kept extending our stay.
Breakfast is not available in winter which was not an issue for us, but I suppose it could be for some people since many town restaurants are closed for the season.

Upon arrival in my vehicle at the pull thru I looked towards the door and seen a great smile from the desk person, Jamal. Jamal was very friendly and knowledgeable. He knew all the right answers. First impression of the room was great. Smelled good inside. Heater worked well.
Breakfast was pretty sparce, bagels, small muffins, cereal, oatmeal. Cream cheese, butter, yogurt, small fruit cups. Also on further notice of the room the love seat really needed shampooed.

Outside was run down pool was cloudy and spa was run down and jets didn’t work
