Bucksport Inn

Great motel. Clean, well kept and close to restaurants and attractions. Truly enjoyed our stay

So cute! We loved the comfy beds, fresh updated decor, lovely grassy recreation area and the fact that they accept dogs in some rooms. Totally renovated older motel in retro good taste.

We thought the price was a tad high, but the reno and cuteness made up for it. Also, because we had a 18ft travel trailor, we had to park in a dirt lot down a hill in front. Totally understandable though. No biggy for us.

Cleanliness, size of room and outside relaxation area

Can’t think of anything

The management is in the process of attempting to upgrade/redesign the motel. I understand that and applaud their efforts. The staff I spoke with were very friendly and honest about the room. I appreciated that.

The cost of the 2 bed room was way too high. Well over $220 for a simple room. The bathroom had been renovated but they mounted the mirror so high that I could barely see the top of my head. My 6' 1" husband barely got to see his whole neck. They really need some advice from a designer on how to place the furniture, too. It's too bad since someone is sinking a lot of money and effort into this place. The price of the room should have been around $125 tops.
