This is what resorts use to be like. It is still in excellent condition. A real key to the door, pleasant people at the check in desk and wonderful views. The location is very peaceful and relaxing. The restaurant, Nor'easter Lobster Pound, which is adjacent was wonderful. We usually find restaurants that are part of the hotel property to be less than satisfying but that was not the case here. One of the two owners is a lobster man so the lobster could not have been fresher.

The views of the harbor from our room and balcony were stunning! We enjoyed eating at the restaurant, good food, drinks and prices were reasonable.
No coffee maker in the room. Having to get dressed and go to the lobby for so-so coffee and no carry-caddies for the cups is a hassle. Try opening a heavy door with a key carrying 2 cups of hot coffee…is a feat. However, it didn’t turn out well when both cups went flying leaving coffee spilled on the rug, walls and bathroom floor. Fun clean up first thing in the morning before coffee 😫
