Simple , plenty of space , easy to get around

The location

The room that they had originally put us in the bed was very uncomfortable. TV didn’t work. Phone didn’t work in the room. It did transfer us to a different room, which was much better.

The price and location was great

Just seemed a little old but thats fine

It was affordable would stay again

Internet was really slow. Couldn't even play a game.

Convenient location

Beds were horribly uncomfortable - felt like you were sleeping on a box spring. Bathroom sink wouldn’t drain - stayed plugged all night. Bathroom light fixture over sink worked when it felt like it. Lamp in main room between beds didn’t work - leaving you in the dark as it is the only light in that room. Pool/spa was closed and had been for sometime it not stated on website - it was the only reason I booked this facility, very disappointing.

The room was nicely remodeled

But the beds were very hard and uncomfortable and the sink wouldn’t drain so I finally asked the maintenance man to help fix it and allowed him into my room . At that point on I felt like I had no privacy and he wanted to try to talk to me every time I seen him even after I switched rooms he knew where I was so I did not feel comfortable staying here

The office clerk had only been here for a month but a great person and very helpful! I think she is the new manager and was very friendly!

Parking is hard with a big truck but worked fine with a 10 point turn to get out.

The honest staff. Ya we know the photos are old and outdated. But it's a owner operation here... We do what they ask 😁 we like our jobs...

The people above us had a huge fight, some one was tossed across the room and walls were moved by the impact and kept us up till 1200 am.

Good location

The room smelled terrible, the bed was broken and on a wooden block for a foot. Dirty walls.

They are trying to improve the rooms.

The room I had was not remodeled and the shower dripped all night The indoor swimming pool that is advertised they have does not work. It looks like it been a long time them not fixing it.

There was no breakfast! There was only coffee.

They could have actually had breakfast since it was offered!

The only plus to this hotel was the proximity to the oven and down town.

They were doing construction and don’t tell us ahead of time. Told us the pool has been closed for THREE YEARS and nowhere near reopening yet they advertise that they have an indoor pool! Their rooms are falling apart and there was problem after problem after problem. Shane was great, another lady I didn’t get her name was great, and there was one lady that was awful I didn’t get her name either.

The parking lot looked like a bomb had been dropped there. There was a painting crew that taped plastic over our window and ac unit and didn't remove them when they left and they oversprayed paint on my rental car. I would have likely stayed somewhere else if I had known that renovations were being done by an inept painting crew. The room was filthy and the housekeeper was rude. Angelina's is closed permanently.

Close enough to walk Main Street. Restaurants , shops the ocean.

Under major construction. Pounding and drilling literally outside our door. Nails in the parking lot. Room thrown together even though I booked months in advance. Mold in the bathroom ceiling.

You charge way to much for your run down rooms I payed 746.00 for 3 nights that's ridiculous I will never stay at your motel ever again.

Fix the place it's so run down.

Staff not helpful/ indifferent when we informed them that our fridge did not work. The room was old, not very clean and the shower knob almost fell off.

It was close to the ocean.

The rooms are dirty. There is mold on the walls in the first room we were in, we got switched to a new room and the fridge didnt work and we didn't know when we put our things in there so our food spoiled and wasted a lot of money. The second room was also dirty but we were to tired to want to switch rooms again so I just cleaned what I could so my kids felt more comfortable. There is also no coffee pot in any room but I am glad we brought our own. We also only got one bar of soap and no other things such as body wash etc they normally would have in hotel/motels. The beds were so uncomfortable and the pillows are thick and lumpy which made for sore body's and necks in the morning making it uncomfortable for our stay while trying to relax while we were there. The second room we also got switched to the lighting was horrible in the bathroom and also in the bed area making it hard to see while in the rooms. If it wasnt for the lights by the beds you wouldn't be able to see much.

Staff that greeted us were great. The room was what one would expect from Motel 6. For the price, +/- $160, way over priced but location, location, location makes all the difference in the world.

My big “3 beds” room was cancelled last minute, I was not offered a good refund, there were no extra blankets & or pillows available upon arrival, no hair dryer and the staff was really rude when I checked in. I will not be staying here ever again.

Nothing

Under complete construction, bathroom flooded every time you took a shower, had to go to the front desk multiple times to get new room keys, door never locked. Shower was broken, ants in room, pool closed, laundry closed, no ice, 90% of the motel was under construction. Homeless hanging out. Also blood on walls in bathroom.

the property is very run down with paint peeling and mildew in the bathroom. The smoke alarm was missing and the sprinkler system is rusted out. Our room did not have a working lock because of the flat lock battery, so the attendant had to let us into the room using mechanical master key every time we returned. Half of the property is under some kind of construction. The room was smoked-in with strong tobacco smell. Unfortunately we did not have any options due to the late in the day arrival otherwise we would try to find some other place.

The bed was comfortable and clean.

Room, bed and clean were find. It was clear that it was an older facility in that the plinths were a bit warn. But the hotel was perfectly adequate and had most things more expensive hotels have, except that the clientele might have been a little less upscale.

It was fair value for money.

Staff was very friendly and helped on more towels and a blanket without questioning it.

Some areas of baseboards and walls had streaks/stains. A very small ant like would appear, i probably killed 10 or so. Very tiny and didn't appear in groups like ants do. But since it was just a few I am OK with it.

The staff was very friendly, the location is great, and being dog friendly is amazing. We stay here every year, sadly though it keeps going down hill badly.

To start the bed was awful. It had a peak in the middle and both sides if you moved you would literally fall off the bed, and a spring was stabbing and scratching my leg. I told them the next morning and was told they would switch the mattress that evening. No call, no mattress. Had to go back the 3rd day and finally they swapped it out. Never offered so much as a small discount at checkout either. Toilet needed flushing 3-4 times, shower handle was broken so water was either cold or burning hot. Turning on a blow dryer the entire room went very dim and flickered once. AC torn apart, TV didn't work... they have been "renovating" for over a year now, and barely anything done. We were there 6 days and not a single thing was done the entire time.

Booking.com was an absolute terrible experience for the first time ever. Driving to this destination is hard enough. Getting there and having to deal with tracking down booking.com for help left me having to pay for the hotel again with a different card.

The price

When we got there (4 hrs 27min) we were told there was no room for us after paying and reserving a month in advance. Was told they had some remodeling done so half of the motel was closed. But they continued to have all rooms available in all online booking places. Was told some one called me but the only out of town number that called me was not from the motel but a wrong number.
