The breakfast was mediocre compared to other hotels. Oatmeal was floating in water each day and the other food was dry. The waffles and yogurt was edible.

The rooms were beautiful

Loved the room, breakfast, and pool. Very clean and comfortable and the staff was great. We also loved the 12pm checkout.

The only complaint we have was there was a horrific smell that seemed to be coming from the elevator shaft. A burning chemical or rubber smell that was so strong you could taste. I am not a picky person (I live on a farm) but it was so unbearable I couldn’t leave my room and made me physically sick in all the common areas and halls and stairways. It was more than just a bad smell it, really made us sick even after getting into our room and leaving the property. All the other guests we came across were having to cover their mouths. We even had to wet a wash rag to cover our mouth and nose when we had to leave our room. I’m not sure what it was but it was not healthy to be breathing. It prevented us from enjoying the extra amenities we were hoping to enjoy because we were stuck in our room. Other than that (which I’m sure was something that was not normal) we really enjoyed the space and it was very clean and comfortable and we would still choose to stay here again when this problem is resolved. We would also love to see the reception hour to be extended to weekdays.
