Close to the beach/boardwalk
Unfortunately there was a leak in the ceiling . We advised the staff, we were out for the day . We came back and was told all is fixed .the leak occurred again and I asked very nicely to have the room switched . When checking out the staff was very apologetic . I had to leave a day early because of work conflict . It would have been nice if I had been offered a discount for the inconvenience.

Mary who checked us in was the nicest lady we have ever met. So So nice. We also like Shirley the house keeper. She has been there forever and is nicer that ever. Thank you

The ladies working at the front desk were very friendly and hospitable. The hooked us up with a King sized room with a partial view. It's right at the beach so easy access and you can also walk to a ton of cute, little shops. We were passing through and apparently the last guests for the season so it was quiet and we got the room for a great price. We would love to come back when we have more time to really explore. It was also nice that they have complimentary tea, coffee and hot cocoa.
The key to the room wouldn't work on the outside. The ladies at the front desk said they'd never had that issue and assumed it was because we were the last guests of the season so maybe the key reader switched over. We checked in late enough we didn't need to go anywhere and it did lock from the inside. So for us it wasn't a big deal.
