    The hotel is very very beat up, the walls were incredibly thin and the hotel main area and rooms were not clean. The lock on the room door was loose and did not latch properly. And then other guests left old food out in the halls it wasn't cleaned up so the hallways smelled bad. The staff were very nice though and did the best in the environment they were working with.

    The room was very dirty, old, and had a very strong, unpleasant smell. We asked the front desk if we could change rooms, but they told us there were no other rooms available and only gave us an air freshener. We sprayed it and left the room for several hours, but when we came back, the smell was still there. The smell was so bad and uncomfortable that my nose became itchy and irritated, and we had difficulty sleeping. Unfortunately, the room was not comfortable at all, and the condition really affected our stay.

    We often stop at Extended Stay hotels when traveling. They are always clean, comforrtable and welcoming. Breakfast is always good, The staff are alway friendly and helpful.

    The location is excellent - $10 uber to American Dream across the road (wish the authorities would just build a footbridge...) Room was well sized, had a small kitchen and was reasonably clean. Beds large and comfy. TV working. Bathroom door was either rotten or eaten at the bottom and wasn't very appealing. If they refitted the bathrooms to modernise them would be an easy 3*+ hotel. Air Con was a unit below the window and did the job well. Breakfast was hot drinks, porridge and small selection of small muffins. Not great at all - was not expecting too much given the cost but a little bit more selection/fruit, yoghurts or sandwiches would have been nice. Staff - nobody present for about 15 minutes at check in (afternoon) - just a sign on the desk saying they'd be back soon. Hotel did appear quite understaffed, profits before customer service. Overall it is what you pay for but we found it acceptable for the one night that we stayed. I wouldn't fancy an extended stay though.
