The Alcala Hotel Mission Valley Seaworld

We are totally happy of the upgrades!!

It’s hard to get away from transients! Not being hurtful! Just a fact.

The location of the hotel was within a few miles of everything we had planned.

The pillows were pretty horrible. They dont have cable so be prepared to use your streaming services if you want to watch TV.

The breakfast was wonderful. The staff was great. Genuinely good vibes. And everything was clean.

The outside was a little scary but that’s just the area. That’s not really their fault. But they were working on the gym and pool but I’m excited for when they’re done with that.

It was a good location for visiting friends in Ocean Beach.

The lighting in the bathroom was dim, shower drained extremely slowly, USB plugs in the end table light fixtures were disgusting to the point where I wouldn't even put my cable in them, and I kept getting housekeeping knocks on the door despite having the Privacy Please note on the handle. Neither the pool nor the hot tub were in any sort of usable condition. The noise from construction was frustrating and I didn't know there would be construction during my stay until I arrived, but understand a place under construction wouldn't be quiet.
