Motel 6 made our visit to Cedar Point a great trip.

I like that the Motel 6 in Huron was affordable and clean. The beds were comfortable, the refrigerator was was a nice bonus, the ice machine had ice and it was quite. My grandson liked that the drink and snack machines were well stocked. I particularly appreciated the pleasant and helpful staff.

Stay away from this 💩 hole

No breakfast. Room had visible cobwebs and dirt in corners. There was a wad of hair in sink drain. Overall disgusting, and my standards are bot very high. This is definitely a budget stay, with no extras at all. Spring an extra 20 bucks and spare yourself of this dump

We booked this property because it was near Cedar Point and budget friendly.

The mattresses were very uncomfortable and the hallways smelled like pot.

The staff was friendly at check in and check out. Room was comfortable.

Vending machines were empty and staff informed us it was better to go to the gas station. The room was mostly cleaned however we found dog food under a bed. We were unaware this location was pet friendly my daughter has allergies to pet dander so it would be nice if some rooms were pet free for these situations.

The price was great for 4 rooms to house 16 people for pur annual family vacation.

The train mentioned in other comments reviews was a downside but to be honest I hardly heard it unless I was actually listening for it. It didnt bother my sleep or anyone else's that was in the party with me.

Staff was friendly. Location was convenient.

Room was not very clean. Hallway smelled very bad like weed. The staff did come spray air freshener but it didn't matter. People just kept smoking in a non smoking motel. The room was not super clean. Beds were hard. Bathroom could use new caulking it looked really bad.

Nice place to stay

It's very close to Cedar Point ,maybe around 10 minutes away. There are plenty of restaurants and stores nearby. The hot tub was wonderful. And kids had fun in the pool.

Dissatisfied

I never checked in! Made a mistake on my cross country trip and booked 1 day earlier than our arrival and was never able to reach the front desk by phone for over a 24 hour period and never received an email response to my three emails explaining the situation. Clearly it was a mistake on my part but never getting a response or even able to speak to someone was extremely frustrating. I wont use booking.com again as they were also passing the buck on resolving the issue. Very disappointed!!!

There was none!

They were housing homeless and immigrants. They didn’t tell us…People were singing and making noise in the hallway till 2am. We just wanted to sleep after driving 12 hours. The room was dirty and the floor was covered with filth.

They need new policies for privacy!

We stayed two nights and the price was excellent! The front desk people were friendly enough, especially the new guy that was working the evening we arrived. He was great! It's hard to find a hotel with a hot tub, so that was a plus, and the beds were pretty comfortable. Hotel was clean. There is a Wendy's right across the street and a gas station and dollar store down the road less than a mile. Most main attractions are about 10 to 20 minutes away.

There is no breakfast, but a few vending machines are available. I brought breakfast to put in the mini fridge and use the microwave, but when we got there we didn't have either in the room. So, be careful when you book because rooms with a microwave and mini fridge are extra, but the description mentioned them in the rooms. ***Thing we didn't like the most was we were in the room and housekeeping came to the door and we told them we didn't need them right then, they said it was policy and insisted that we let them in. They then came in and walked in on my daughter in the bathroom even though the door was shut!

Worst experience I’ve ever had in a hotel.

Location was the only positive about it.

The room was disgusting. Mold on fridge and Air conditioner/ heater, black stains on white sheets of one bed, fridge leaking water all over the floor, toilet paper stuck to wall by something dark. We left and got another hotel and am still waiting for refund 5 days later.

The location was perfect. I felt safe staying here with my 2 kiddos for a little get away. The assistant manager is whom Checked me in and she was sooo sooo nice and welcoming.

I didn’t like that I had to pay extra for a room to have a refrigerator. I am very travel friendly and love an impromptu get away on a budget. I thought it was a little silly that it was an up charge to have a fridge, but my kids and I surely used it and got the monies worth for our stay.

Michael at the front desk was excellent. Property conveniently near highway.

I left my brand new Apple iPhone charger plugged in between the two beds but when I called to say I would be back to pick it up, no one could find it. Also didn't like the train noise all night long. Would have preferred a room on the other side of the hall which I know was available. We did not ask to change though as we were not aware of the trains until settled into bed and the little one had already fell asleep.
