This is a good value and would stay here again with some planning.

loved the free snacks in the lobby and the staff was quite helpful.

bed was a bit hard. There was some black mold in the bathroom. There was no elevator and the parking was on a hill so not a good location for someone with mobility issues. they switched our room so we had a ground floor which was nice but had to park in the lower parking area and walk uphill back to the hotel.

Great breakfast. Nice people until we were accused of having noisy small dogs insistently while we’re listening to a large noisy dog across the hall.

Excellent - my go-to place to stay in Sequim

The staff is very friendly. The room was comfortable. They have a great breakfast spread and I really like that they have snacks that are free, and a station to refill water bottles. The exterior is inviting and gives a lovely place to sit and eat, read, drink coffee. The location for me was excellent, allowing for a nice walk into town, very close to the Cary Blake Park. This is my go-to place to stay in Sequim.

There was a very strange low end vibrating sound. It was very loud and went on for hours. It felt like it was under my room or adjacent to my room. I tried to investigate and let the desk staff know, but couldn't find the source. It eventually stopped around 10pm.

Nice outdoor space, they offer coffee, juice, water and treats throughout the day and evening. Just a nice extra touch. Breakfast was also a big variety. Staff was all very pleasant.

Awesome place, very clean, quiet, late pool/hot tub hours are nice. TONS of free snacks and a good breakfast selection. We only live 2 hours away but we will definitely be back!

The Breakfast was FANTASTIC! We had 2 very comfortable queen size beds. the bathroom was good. everything was clean and tidy.

at arrival the pillow cases were dirty, Lilly from front desk was very attentive and came and changed the entire bed. Pillows too hard. need some softer option on pillows.

Room was clean and modern. Pool was kept at a nice temperature, spa was nice and hot. Good breakfast selection, with lots of other snacks available to guests during the other times of the day.

Great small hotel, good location for visiting the Olympic peninsula, perfect to stay with kids.

The pool is small but it was definitely a highlight for our kids. The hotel also provides complimentary snacks, including bottled water and juices for kids, I think it was a good touch.

I think the breakfast could be better. The popular items like: eggs, sausage, omelets, pancake batter, and yogurt parfaits ran out quickly.

Ok but not worth the amount you pay for staying here.

The room was big but it did not feel 'comfortable'. The lighting in the room was not very good. There were these bright sunlight based lights everywhere unlike the warm yellow lights you see in most hotel chains. Also our room was right in front of a staircase so there was constant noise of people going up and down because the hotel does not have an elevator. The Sofa bed was terrible and was absolutely unusable. The reception staff was as warm as sunlight on a dull and cloudy Seattle day. Breakfast was also extremely mediocre.

Rip-off

Booking.com ripped me off at $884 for one night just because I abruptly booked just hours before checking in. I had an initial booking at Tides & Timber, but we discovered it’s not fit for 77 year old couple as it’s too far away from town and too remote. We had to book this property just to stay overnight, and we had no choice. It’s getting late. Despite such tragic incident you charged a whopping $884 for a modest one bedroom at Redlion Sequim. What’s the Genious Level Three for? I am seriously considering leaving booking.com and join another outfit. I was devastated.

Noisy LVT flooring made for a difficult stay

The room had obviously been recently remodeled.

We were given a second floor room with no elevator. My husband’s knees aren’t the best and we had very heavy luggage to pull up exterior concrete steps. The room had been remodeled and had LVT instead of carpet. I’m sure that made cleaning easier but it made for a noisy, uncomfortable stay. Rather than smoothly opening a large suitcase it was dragging it across the floor with a horrible, grating noise. There was a noise complaint from the people below us complaining that we were jumping on the beds and stomping around. We’re old - the only stomping noise would have come from moving suitcases.

Sequim overnight stay.

Our stay in Sequim was for one night. We wanted to visit the Lavender Farms and go to Marymere Falls and Lake Cresent. These were within driving distance from the hotel. The hotel was clean and our room was easy access to the car. (We are 75) We used the hot tub and indoor pool. They had a simple but nice breakfast with lots of choices.

They did not have a coffee maker in the room but it was a short walk down the hall to the lobby and coffee.

We love the location and stay here about once a summer. The breakfast is a huge bonus. The staff is great. Only this is there no elevator. Makes getting your stuff to the rooms and back difficult

Better than I was expecting!

My 14-year-old daughter and her friend loved the pool and hot tub as well as the workout room - and especially the complimentary snacks that the hotel regularly restocked. Super helpful and accommodating staff - this Red Lion clearly places a big emphasis on good/ skilled employees. Only complaint is our room was a bit noisy as we were at end of hallway by stairs - and guests in room above were jumping and bumping on the floor starting about 6:30 AM. Hi.

Comfortable, clean and well maintained and friendly staff.

Room was clean, well-maintained, perhaps remodeled recently. Breakfast was pretty standard for chain lodging. There was enough room for us to set up the pen for our dog. The fee for a pet was $10, no weight limit.

Because we had a pet, we were in a room with no carpet. It worked out fine and we understand why that would be the case. It was also the room for someone who may be in a wheelchair.

A lot of extra touches that made us feel like appreciated guests.

All of the extras that the property had really set it apart. Having the pool open to adults only from 10p to midnight was a great idea, and I wish more hotels would do that. I also thought all the extras like snacks and drink for guests in the lobby was better than we've ever seen at a hotel, same with breakfast. So many options, done in such an easy way. We also really appreciated the trays for breakfast and being able to bring it to our room. I like to eat while I'm getting ready in the morning, and some hotels don't allow that. The property also seemed really well maintained and all of the employees were nice and friendly.

The bathroom was a bit small for two people who needed to get ready at the same time. We also were constantly hearing a noise that sounded like someone was moving furniture a distance away. We finally figured out that it was the automatic sliding door at the lobby entrance opening and closing. Not terrible, but not ideal.

Nice stay, best breakfast and great views.

The location is easily reachable from Seattle side or Forks side. It is in a quite serene location. The most amazing part of the hotel was the breakfast. I have seldom seen succh variety, though they have a very limited place to sit ( specially if it is raining or cold). Second, they do offer complimentary bikes to ride and there are beautiful places to ride near by.

The rooms a bit small ( or may be my kids have grownup. The breakfast are does not have enough space to sit, and we have to sit near swimming area. BTW : No lifts ( though only two floors) so you have to carry your stuff to room.
