Comfy unit without AC, but loud train runs all day and night

The unit was good although we were told that there was no AC in the unit. It was cool enough at night to keep us comfortable. The location is a bit far from San Diego. We incurred traffic both ways during the day. The biggest issue with the train! It runs all day and latest was around 11pm Friday night and it blows the whistle!!! That sucked.

This property was a very big disappointment . Our first negative stay when using Booking.com.

The property was very close to the beach and we had a nice view . It is a very clean unit.

There was no air conditioning which would would not have been a problem but it was very warm and humid and you had to keep the windows open and fans on at all times. The trains ran very often and the train tracks are located very close to the property. We did not get a good night's sleep. I would not recommend this property and it it is very overpriced for a property that has no AC and is very close to a train track. We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary and visiting family.

The unit was awesome. Great view and beautifully designed and decorated. I could live here!

There was no breakfast provided. The location was execellent with a beautiful view of the beach. Love the balcony, the cathedral ceilings, windows, kitchen, living room, and bedroom. We were impressed. When we entered the unit we both said "Wow"!!!! We really appreciated the complimentary bottle of champagne and candy for our 50th wedding anniversary!!

I can't think of anything. We loved the unit.

Absolutely the Best Choice in Del Mar

1. Very safe location for the beach 2. Fantastic Ocean View 3. Nice designated parking space 4. Only 12 minute drive to Torrey Pines Golf Course 5. There are lots of good restaurants nearby 6. Very convenient access to the beach 7. Lovely pacific Ocean breeze and sound 8. Never bothersome local train noise

Es wäre hervorragend gewesen, wenn nicht diese massiven Probleme aufgetreten wären.

Das Ambiente und die grosszügigen Villen mit Meersicht. Zum Strand ist es nicht weit. Es gibt einen schönen Pool. Auch das übrige Personal war sehr freundlich.

Am Anreisetag wurde uns ohne jegliche Vorabinformation von einem sehr unfreundlichem Empfangsmitarbeiter gesagt, das wir am dritten Tag unseres Aufenthaltes umziehen müssen (inkl. ordentlichen "late" Check out bis 12.00 und Check Inn ab 16.00 Uhr. Rezeption konnte / wollte uns nicht helfen und verwiess auf eine Telefonnummer um den Villen Manager zu kontaktieren -dies war sehr peinlich (und teuer) zumal wir kein US Telefon hatten. Das Zimmer war am Anreisetag um 16.00 Uhr nicht parat. Das Management hat sich entschuldigt, jedoch nichts für uns unternommen. Daher sind wir früher abgereist, haben aber nicht mal ein drittel von 3 Tagen erstatten bekommen. Der Zug fährt wirklich häufig direkt vor dem Fenster vorbei - in der Nacht sind es immer wieder sehr lange und sehr laute Cargo Züge.
