We come here in different seasons. We like the sauna and the jacuzzi. We will definitely come again.

Great spot for a weekend getaway

The location was great, spacious room with balcony, kitchen and living area. Easy free parking. Nearby restaurants and hiking trails. Everything was very clean, and the kitchen amenities were perfect for us.

Nice studio for people who like to cook their own meals

The one-bed studio we rented was spacious and had a well appointed kitchen. The studio was clean and had lots of towels in the bathroom. The jetted bathtub is a nice bonus. The lodge rents bikes for free and we biked down to Tahoe City on the nice path along Truckee River. The area was very quiet since it was mid-week and in the slow season for the area.

Nothing major, just a few minor annoying things. The ice maker in the fridge can be very loud at night. The light above the bed seems to have a mind of its own and turns off on a whim.

Totally affordable 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment/condo with adorable furniture and a fully stocked kitchen. It was clean, and quiet, and for Tahoe, you just cant beat the price. Free parking.

Its basic, hence why it is affordable. The front office staff could care less, not a smile to be seen. There is coffee in the office but its only open from 9-11 and 4-6! The building itself is really nice, easy parking, but my goodness the view of the construction and parking lot (which is always going to be there) is horrendously ugly. Still, we'd stay again as Tahoe is ridiculously expensive and this was like being in a home without having to pay for cleaning fee.

Did not live up to my expectations or its price.

Location and parking are good. The room was ok, bed was comfortable.

NO Internet. It only worked for the first hour or so of my two day stay, All the other hotels had Wifi, so it wasn't the weather, which is what the front desk told me. Housekeeping and fresh towels had to be REQUESTED, and I was sent a text wanting me to bag all trash etc. They didn't even make the bed for over $300 a night! They had an envelope out for tips though! TV is very small, and can't be seen easily from the bed. The oven can only be opened if you open the refrigerator door as well. Hot water ran out during my shower.

Old School Stay

Liked having a kitchen so that I could avoid the restaurants' high prices. My room was quiet--but I can admit that if there were a lot of rowdy kids around, it would be noisy since the walls are a bit thin. As dated as it is, I liked having jacuzzi tubs as an alternative to the hot tubs. Fire pits were nice. Although not particularly "fancy", it's a comfortable and relaxing place to stay. There's a lot of room, it's peaceful, you may (or may not) get a view of the mountains (I had a partial view and it was nice) The staff is friendly and welcoming. It was a great choice for me and I would come here again.

My room's ice maker was broken, so I had to ask where I could get some ice--the only place to get it was the clubhouse, which was not open all the time. :( The air conditioner was ridiculously loud; fortunately, I could just open the window and turn on the fan. But hot sleepers might have an issue if every room is like that. Bring your own coffee if you are an early riser! There's a stocked kitchen, but no coffee packets and creamers. The c Costco (KIrkland) coffee is available starting at 9:00, but for early risers like me and who didn't bring coffee, it's a bummer. Luckily, Coffee Bar is less than 2 minute walk and opens at 7:00.

Red Wolf Lodge was located in an excellent location. Red Dog was right outside our window and we could walk to everything. The one bedroom apartment we had was perfect. It had a fabulous layout and was immaculate. Everything we would have wanted or needed was there

OK but has very loud air conditioning unit, and the cleaning staff don't fully clean the rooms

We stayed here because it was close to where my partner had to go for a conference. The location was near the conference venue. That would be the main positive point.

The cleaning service was not good. Even on the days when they were supposed to fully clean the room, they did not make the bed or provide more coffee. I had to ask to have the bed made. On the "light cleaning day" they absolutely would not make the bed. It just seemed like they were cutting corners for no real reason. The air conditioner was very loud, and my husband had trouble sleeping because of the noise of the old AC. Front desk staff were not always on duty during open hours, so I observed many guests being unable to check in quickly. This place is OK, but I wouldn't return because the service, facilities, and cleanliness are lacking.

Red wolf not quite prepped for snow

large spacious rooms. Fantastic location ski in and out.

There are no staff, per se. You are renting an apartment and if that's what you want the building is OK. The facility is a bit dated as are the rooms. The lounge is outboard of the main lodge and you have to go outside to access it. The facility did not have enough maintenance staff to keep the walkways passable during the snows so we could not use the lounge. The front drive and access roads were not ploughed during our stay. The garage had a large ice curb form, blocking passage of vehicles, even our large 4 wheel drive. We told the on site manager and she said there was a shovel in the garage. Thanks! they finally had a worker chip out the ice with a pick so we could leave, but that took 90 minutes. There are no services ( including maid service) no valet and no bell.

rooms are very spacious and the kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. the clubhouse and deck are very fun to hang out at as well, cozy to sit at the fireplace and hang out in one of the 3 jacuzzis outside. free parking on the attached garage, very friendly and knowledgeable reception staff, squaw valley is very small, but offers great views and all of Lake Tahoes sights and things to do are easy to reach

This was located in a great area. Restaurants and shops were within walking distance and there is a safe bicycle only trail that goes from the hotel to Lake Tahoe. The hotel lent us bikes for free and there was a hot tub and gym on the premises. We had a full kitchen and a separated seating area in addition to our comfortable bedroom. The staff was very nice and there was ample covered parking.

The view from our room was the concrete base of the ski school next door. They was also major construction going on next door that started at 6am and continued until 6pm every day. We could not open our window nor relax on the veranda because of the dust and noise from the construction. This is just temporary since they hope to be done with the construction in the next few months. Unfortunately, the view from the first two floors aren't great and that's not temporary.

The room had everything for an extended stay, four burner stove, blender, refrigerator, etc. The complimentary bike was appreciated by lots of us as well as long, scenic bike paths. And the restaurants close by were reasonable and good.
