Beds, Shower, refrigerator . . . All were wonderful. Room was nice and cozy!
Jennifer at the front desk was NOT pleasant to us upon our arrival. Especially when we asked her about early check-in. She has No "People Skill." On numerous occasions we told the front desk that the TV in our room was not working properly. 2 technicians came out and the problem still was not rectified. Today is Thursday and I still haven't received my $50 refund.

It’s located near the freeway
There was no hot water in the morning

clean and good staff, not bad location though some traffic noise
overpriced for what I got, very average breakfast fare, some other guest literally left the elevators and corridors reeking of marijuana

The room was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The breakfast room was great. The best part are the amazing staff.
It was a little bit difficult parking since we have an SUV. There was a small leak in the shower. The ice machine was broken on the 3rd floor.
6.0 / 10.0
The room was perfect. Its bed was comfortable. The HVAC was responsive. The room service maids were friendly.
Who serves uncooked cubed potatoes? Who serves pancakes without any syrup? The "omelets" were less eggs and more flour -- unpalatable. The oatmeal soup was more water than oats. Altogether substandard, but commissurate with the room price. How much more does proper supervision of the kitchen staff cost? Two days with no orange juice in the dispenser is unpleasant. At check-in, the desk personnel were just short of nasty, but kind of mean -- particularly Jennifer. I watched her being difficult with an elderly handicapped woman checking in. She treated me in much the same way. Check out time is at eleven o'clock, but by 7:15 a.m., upon return from complementary breakfast the room key cards no longer unlocked the room. The desk clerk was not surprised and reactivated the key cards. Why do that to a guest so many hours before check out time? Answer: just short of nasty. It was not mere oversight. In the final analysis, considering the litany of disappointments, I would stay at this hotel again, but NOT a Green Tree Inn location elsewhere solely because of the price point value, but that is due to the price of competitors' accommodations.

Easy access to the freeway and downtown is only 10 minutes away.
The entrance from the street is tight.

Everything. Bed and pillows so comfortable.
Our room 112 was at the entrance door. Banged all night. People chatting and a lot of general noise. Probably worse as we were there 5 nights

I liked how clean everything was.
Parking was either full near the rooms or a good walking distances to the rooms.

It was a place to sleep. Close to where we wanted to go (sea world).
The breakfast was not great. Not any options at all. Just one thing to choose from (eggs) for the main course. Oatmeal was like water. Parking was atrocious. The pool is the size of a jacuzzi…sooo small.

Cost and Location
Too small pool. Dark Yellow wall was too depressing .Week internet. Too basic breakfast.

The beds and pillows were comfy, the breakfast was fine, the parking wasn't bad and the location was incredible. We didn't interact much with the staff, but the 2 times I spoke with them, they were quite helpful. The sheets and towels were clean and the toiletries smelled nice. The price is very fair for the amenities and location.
The property needs some TLC. Our ice machine was broken, our bathroom door didn't lock. We found a few ants and winged termites in our room. Our daughter also got bit by some kind of bug in the night.

The room was very nice. The bathroom was clean and in good condition, the Wi-Fi worked well, the beds were really comfortable, and we slept very well. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful.
The place isn’t worth the price — it’s quite expensive for what it offers. Maybe it’s due to the time of year, since prices go up during Comic Con, but still, the value for money isn’t great. If it were cheaper, it could be one of the best options. The location isn’t bad, but it’s not among the best either, and the surrounding area feels a bit sketchy.

Staff helped me moved to a different hotel.
Dark, dirty, and hot.
9.0 / 10.0
It is a really good location for exploring San Diego, since everything is 15 min away. It is a decent hotel but could be a bit less expensive.
The toilet did not work so I had to reported every time when someone used it so that the toilet man can come and fix it. Hair dryer did not work so I went to bed with wet hair, but other than that it is a decent place.

Location was great and the beds were comfortable,
Needs to be updated very rundown. There was a carpet in the elevator. That was a little suspicious. Made you wonder what was underneath.. you could hear everything going on and other rooms and people walking above. Sounded like they were gonna crash through the ceiling.

Our room smelled like pickles. Rude customer service. Small parking. No stores or food places near by. Breakfast wasn’t good either. Pool was dirty and very small. I asked if they could clean our room and fix our beds. They only replaced our towels and trash bags. Overall horrible.

The breakfast was like real breakfast- we expected just pastries or muffins and coffee. We were surprised to have eggs, potato’s, & sausage daily.
The parking lot is very tight. The beds were really hard and pretty uncomfortable

Location as it was close to everything in the surrounding area that we wanted to go to
Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was disappointing. The staff wasn’t particularly friendly—something as simple as a smile or a warm “enjoy your stay” can really make a difference, but that basic courtesy was missing.
Breakfast was another letdown, with undercooked potatoes and little to enjoy overall.
While the room appeared clean—especially the linens and bathroom—there was an overwhelming odor that made it difficult to relax. It smelled strongly of cat urine, and the odor intensified whenever the AC was on. We had to turn it off and open the window just to make the room bearable. Thankfully, the weather was cool, so we managed, but it's unacceptable that the AC couldn’t be used due to the smell.
I understand this is an older hotel—I actually grew up just a few blocks away when it was still the Comfort Inn (if I remember correctly)—but that odor, likely coming from the AC unit or possibly the carpet, needs to be addressed. An upgrade to the HVAC system and a deep carpet cleaning would go a long way.
When I requested new room keys, I mentioned the odor to the front desk staff. Unfortunately, my comment was completely disregarded. The woman simply handed me the keys without any acknowledgment or apology, let alone offering an alternative room. As someone who manages over 420 Airbnb properties in Big Bear Lake, I can confidently say this level of customer service is unacceptable.
We spent minimal time in the room, so we chose to deal with the issue, but the experience left a poor impression. The beds were also very firm and not particularly comfortable.
Based on this visit, I would not recommend this hotel and do not plan to return. Room 208, in particular, requires immediate attention due to the AC and odor issues, and the staff could benefit greatly from customer service training.

Pretty good bed
Guy next-door outside kept knocking on a window asking a girl to let him in . Your cheap on accessories like maybe a couple free bottles of water . One tea bag ???? Faucet on shower didn't operate well . Stuffy room . You don't want to open the window because on around floor who is outside ? Need to put up security walls or fences say .

Check in and out was very smooth, decent breakfast, comfortable beds, and housekeeping came every day.
The lobby being disconnected from rooms, and everything was pretty old and dated. Clean, but old.
