We made the reservation at the last moment, and the room was hot when we got there, and it took a while to cool down. The location was great. The breakfast was excellent.

These are the sweetest people ever! The building is an old rustic house, something you would see in gone with the wind or something. But the people running it are the real gem. Super helpful and will go out of their way to make sure your stay is nice and follow up with you if you forget something.
I mean it's just old, electrical and AC system needs an update but it all works.

Fantastic stay in a beautiful old Victorian house above a Thai restaurant - with Thai breakfast built in! We stayed two nights and had two mouth wateringly delicious breakfasts. The hosts went out of their way to be accommodating and you can tell they are genuinely caring and hospitable people.
The rooms were in a different section of the big historic mansion than the restaurant so we couldn't hear any restaurant noises, but we also didn't go during the busy season. Would love to stay here again when we go to Staunton!

Location in town was a plus. Owner was delightful and let us check in early. Comfortable bed.
Room needs upgrade: leaky sink with old hot and cold spigots; large old tub to climb in for shower; no available coffee in room or other place; wallpaper peeling and trim missing in bathroom; second floor rooms hard to climb stairs for seniors.
