Breakfast was good. Location was okay.....
I paid for my room in advance, only to have the hotel hold an additional $100 for "incidentals" once I arrived. When I asked about this, I was told that this was normal and part of the reason I got the room so "cheap." I didn't think it was "cheap." But okay.

The staff and the bed was comfy
the pool and hot tub have seemed to be down for some time and I even checked reviews hoping it would be operational but no. The bathroom wasnt the cleanest, hair in places and tub was dirty. The outlet on the right side of the bed didnt work for my phone so had to plug it into the wall and the light on the left side of the bed doesnt work. This morning I went to make coffee and I plugged in the coffee pot and it didnt turn on through either outlet on the wall of the desk so I had to plug it into the light on the desk. Things definitely need attention. I normally love Country Inns, the one is Baxter is top tier! I will sadly not be staying at this hotel when I am in St. Cloud.
