peaceful getaway

Our studio, which had its own front porch, looked out at peaceful surroundings, and having a kitchen was great. The staff were very nice, from the front desk to the dining room. The bed was comfortable, and they gave us plenty of towels.

The electric stove was challenging, and the place was a little dated. The light at night came through the shades, like it was sunrise all night, so I had a hard time sleeping. The poor restaurant staff were undertrained and understaffed. The food was terrible, except for the salad ( which was build your own). To their credit, they gave us a discount because we could not eat our food.

Great location, cool cedar lodge, quick housekeeping response, but room wasn't ready when promised.

The location was great, very close to Palisades for awesome skiing.

There was a random towel between the tv desk and the chair that hadn't been picked up and the tv desk was about to fall apart. Also, our room wasn't ready until after check-in time, very frustrating.

Can’t wait to go back

Breakfast available at the main hall it was a plus we did not need to drive into town everyday for breakfast. Even tho the Location was only two minutes from downtown. The snow was really coming down and they did a great job keeping the road and walkways as clear as possible. All staff where very kind. It was convenient having the snow school on property.

The cleaning of the room was not each day, the general decor was a little tired and out dated. The beds and bed linen was mismatched and not good quality / uncomfortable. During the day the facilities for food and drink were limited.

Peaceful, private and relaxing!

This property is fantastic. Our apartment lodge was private with a beautiful view of the forest and snow. The property is very quiet and peaceful! They have. a year round heated pool and jacuzzi and sauna, and their sled and ski hills are actually pretty big. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to all our requests. We will definately be back!

Terrible and ruined Tahoe due to not getting any sleep

The room was excellent and had everything needed!

The 1st night there was constant noise till 3am with someone above moving furniture around and sounding like the room was being renovated. The staff were very helpful and moved us to another room. Sadly though the people next door had the tv on full volume till the early hrs and so had terrible sleep again. This is sold as a zen and tranquil place but our experience was the total opposite. If you only need a few hrs sleep from 2am and don’t mind constant noise then a great place to stay. If not def avoid!
