    There are two reservations I have with my stay at the Wyndham in Southport. The first is that they do not provide a complete housekeeping service even though I stayed for five days. They do come into your room daily and take out the trash and bring new towels and washcloths. But that is it. I felt like with the number of days I was there they should have provided at least one day of complete room service. I know I travel often and most hotels now provide complete room service at least after two or three days. The other issue I had was that although breakfast is advertised as Continental. And they did have a variety of cereals, waffles, and hot bar, the menu did not change from day to day. For those guest to stay more than a couple of nights, it would be nice to have more of a variety after a day or two. The staff was helpful and very friendly. The hotel appeared in good shape and clean. It is in a good location, not on the water, but halfway between the town of Southport and Oak Island. In five minutes, you can be in either place. It’s a great location to get out and explore all of the area has to see and do. So even with a few things I didn’t like I would recommend the hotel for the price in this area.

    We always enjoy staying here when we visit Southport! Great price, nice rooms and the Italian place next door is a plus!

    Our stay was for 3 nights. We did not have our towels replaced, trash emptied, bed made or coffee refreshed during our stay. Even after asking the front desk each morning
