Super 8 by Wyndham Chattanooga East - Hamilton Place

Location. It was about 2 miles from the airport which was great because I had an early flight. The room was simple and appears to be recently remodeled.

The hallway was not air conditioned and the soda machine beeped all night long.

The location was great. Our room was clean and comfortable.

We were only there for one night. The receptionist at check-in was very unpleasant.

The hotel room was a little on the smaller side but clean and seemed to be a fairly recent remodel. We were in town for a softball tournament which means we were only in the room at night, which made it perfect for us. They gave us a room on the top floor at the end of the hallway, which kept our room fairly quiet. The bathroom was clean and the shower had good water pressure. We really appreciated that every night when we got back to the room the beds were made and fresh towels were left for us (this seems less common lately for rooms at this price point). The beds were adequately sized and comfortable and the rooms had plenty charging points for phones, watches, and devices. The best part is the hotel is right off the interstate and less than a mile from the mall and restaurants. It exceeded our expectations for a hotel at this price point and would definitely recommend for a weekend stay.

Although we were at the end of the hallway, we still got a lot of noise from outside our room. I always travel with a fan to drowned out noise so it wasn't an issue for us but still something to consider. We didn't eat the breakfast but the area was small and didn't seem to offer a lot of options. The traffic during rush hour made it a little difficult to get in and out of the hotel but this was really only an issue from about 4:30 - 5:30 on weekdays.
