Bathroom was exceptional. Bedroom very clean and bed was super thick and comfy.Frontcdesk staff was very friendly. Bartender on the roof was awesome. Food was excellent.
Bedroom oddly configured. Wall mirror wedged bn nightstand and head of bed looking over the pillows.unusable. all night long there was aloud popping noise every 3-7 minutes that woke us up. Like a time click being punched. Not enough drawer space.Dnstrs Lobby was super super cold. Pics of rooftop bar are misleading. It's all permanently enclosed now.

Kind staff, very elegant hotel. Somewhat surprised about the quality being this nice in Columbia, SC.
It was very noisy outside my window. Loud music, cars revving, which is no fault of the hotel or its staff. Maybe better noise canceling products/insulation when doing future renovations? Or maybe thicker windows? My stay was great. That was the only down side.

Lovely staff and room and nice bar downstairs.
Rooftop bar needs a bit of TLC, looking and feeling a bit tired. Also, unlike every single other Marriott I've stayed in, I wasn't allowed the free additional hour for a late check-out. They wanted me to pay for that hour. Apparently, it is hotel policy even though Marriott itself promotes free extra hour check out, as a member benefit. Very very disappointing to be honest, and puts me off returning when there are two other Marriott properties close by that do give you the extra hour free of charge.
