Close proximity to Morro Bay.

Towels were old & dingy. I don't understand why they would use such gross towels. Good thing we brought our own. Room smelled of marijuana, shower curtain filthy, only provided half a roll of toilet paper. Walls need a good cleaning. Flies in the room. Mold in shower, shower doesn't seem to have been cleaned for sometime.

This was a real gem. The price-to-quality ratio here is very good.

Great hotel for a weekend. Everything is clean and tidy. The beach is a one-minute walk away, souvenir shops are two minutes away, and a grocery store is five minutes away. Everything is close by. If your goal is to visit the ocean on a budget, this is a very good option. The price is very good compared to nearby hotels. There are even small tables outside each room where you can sit.

The only downside was that the Wi-Fi was occasionally slow. Apart from that, everything was great. After all, it’s a motel, so you can’t really ask for much more.

The floor was so dirty I had to use a hotel towel to clean it. I had to ware shoes inside the room. The top bed cover had what appeared to be blood droplets and I was unable to use it. Goood thing I travel with my own blanket.

Check in Time - Asked to Check at 12 noon . Was messaged back that they could not accommodate. Arrived at 2:55 pm only 4 other guest. Other rooms were completely vacant?

Location

Service subpar for room11 Language barrier. 1). Hairdryer electrical burn issue and fire alarm did not go off. Expressed concerns about the room and ignored. 2). Phone plugged in, but no dial tone. Had to walk to the front desk for all needs. 3). Baseboard with water damage looks mold 4). Toilet see picture 5). Bathroom window broken and window screen missing. Room and bathroom musty smell. 6). Booked with Booking.com. for 8 nights for 1616.00 after complaints Was advised to change hotels. Management refused to refund the remaining nights. I did change to Ascott Suites due to a horrible experience and management bad mouthing the staff about not doing their job. I have more photos but could only upload four

it is a wonderful location right by great coffee, shops and beach access. The staff are very warm and welcoming. And it's good value for the money.

The rooms are pretty clean. I thought that the floor could've used a little bit more of a mopping. They tend to vacuum up all the sand, but I'm not sure if they mop. The other thing is the room was small. We have a big dog and so we had a big crate and a bed for him and that took up most of the space in the room.

so nice to stay here. we had a 1 night stay here with our lil pup chihuahua. beautiful sights and walking distance to the beach and cute lil restaurants. we had a wonderful time! very clean and comfy stay. it was our first time here and definitely will not be our last! friendly host and friendly atmosphere. thank you!

The location was perfect for walking around the shops. It was very quiet and was able to get a great night's sleep. I loved how it had an A/C. The room had everything we needed.

The bed was more firm than I would like it to be, but it was perfect for my husband. We will visit again!

Basic Accommodations with Great Location

Very basic and a bit overpriced accommodations. No breakfast offered. Easy to park off street and convenient location to walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. Appreciate that they are dog friendly.

Towels and linens were clean but a bit worn. The mattress platform is metal so it’s easy to kick making a loud bang. Not only are you making the bang, you can hear the bangs in the neighboring rooms’ guests. We find it funny but it could be annoying if heard late at night.

Pleasant stay on the central coast!

The proprietor was so kind and he upgraded us (we’re seniors) to a king room. We even had toothbrushes and toothpaste! We loved the modern bedding and fresh-scented bath gels. Thank you for making our stay in Cayucos so pleasant!
