Good for the buck

I was only there for one night the location was nice wasn't too far from anything staff was professional the room was very clean the bed was comfortable I'd recommend it to others looking for good value at a great price

May stay at this place ruined all the excitement and fun of 31st night.

The only thing about the property that I like was that it was reasonably close to the Niagara Falls and was located at roadside. Other than that, I don’t remember liking any of the aspects of this stay.

There was no hot water available in the unit. Staff stated that the water heating system was damaged, but they did not inform us before check-in. There are a few inches of snow all around in the corridor, in the parking area, and even at the entrance of the unit, in front of the door. And during our whole time of the day, nobody cleaned the snow from the corridor and in front of the door. The metal stairs were so slippery, and there was snow on them as well. They had not put any salt or anything else there. Additionally, the staff misbehaved with children during breakfast time. There were random food items in the complimentary breakfast area, but later we found that those items were not free at all. Furthermore, there was no level to identify who was included in the rent and who was not. I wish I had liked to waste a couple of minutes writing more about the problems I faced there. Who would not have checked in if they had informed us that there was no hot water available or that snow removal would not be available in the unit? I wish I had an option to claim a refund. Not recommended at all.

Location and parking was great. They had waffles you can make, your usual bread and cereal, and hot drinks.

Beds are advertised as queens but are full sized. Pretty sure they only have kings and full. Think the state of new york doesn't know what Queen sized beds are. Bathroom fan is on a timer and turns off after 2 mins. TV doesn't work, ac knobs fell off so you can't adjust it unless you have a flathead screw. There's a ac thing to adjust on the wall that doesn't do anything. Front desk lady on the night shift is very curt.

The room was clean. Cost, near attractions and restaurants. The playground was a plus and outdoor swimming pool.

Needed some cosmetic repairs. My room had a broken phone, the cabinet door to the hinge is broken.

We did not stay and checked out and asked for a refund shortly after we checked in.

Nothing hotel was unclean, and we checked out the same day due to uncleanliness of the room.

I did not like the fact that the room was so dirty that it turned your feet black. We did get a refund for our stay almost 20 days later.

Dirty filthy place

Horribly dirty place. Room was filled with smell of smoke which was then saturated with heavy smells of chemicals (someone was attempting to clean it). All mixed with the smell of marijuana. Dirty old AC unit filled with dust and spider webs, spreading all this dust. I started having asthma symptoms as soon as I walked into the room. We left the room immediately and are in the process of filing the claim with Booking.com

Lack of communication and dirty

The beds were decently comfortable.

We tried to get checked in to our room at 4pm when check in was at 3. We had to wait around for an hour because they didn’t have rooms ready for us. The manager said she was going to give us a discount and then we never saw her again. The grounds were dirty. There was cigarette butts laying everywhere outside our door and beer bottle lids. The room itself just didn’t feel very clean. We were given three towels for four of us and they didn’t provide any towels for the pool. The pool had a bunch of debris floating on the top and stuff on the bottom that we kept stepping on. There was also a homeless guy just roaming around the parking lot and the gazebo and sat there the whole time we were in the pool, and the hotel itself was across the street from a rundown factory. It just didn’t feel very safe, the hotel staff didn’t seem to have any sense of communication and no one knew what was happening. The lady at the front desk at one point was also pretty rude and was always outside smoking and we had to wait until she finished. We almost left to go to a different hotel but why that point it was almost 6 and our kids wanted to swim and just relax after a long day. I definitely would not recommend this hotel.

Over all its fine for a night stay!

Very accessible to customers need with all the stuff around. Pool open for kids to plunge after exhausting walk at the NF . Room is spacious and clean.

The breakfast is very minimal with so many customers on line. Even simple eggs sausages and bacon weren’t available and the office dont have seats /couches to lounge on while waiting for their turn on the line.

Bathroom was dirty. We a were asked if we would like a service, it was t performed. I asked about it again on the second day, same still not done. I went to get fresh linens, the were still in washer and dryer.HOWEVER, the manager graciously adjusted our bill and took responsibility. That spoke volumes to me that this location still had employees who weren’t afraid to be accountable.

The Worst ‐ canceled at check-in

Nothing, it was so bad I canceled and stayed at another hotel.

Upon arrival to the property, the person at the front desk was standing in the doorway, taking hits off a hand bong. Only after my family got out and headed into the office did he stop and go to the front desk. Then he laughed as he explained that our room wasn't available yet (it was after 5 pm, check-in was supposedly anytime after 3 pm). Then he waved us off and told us to go have dinner or something and come back later. So we went outside to sit and one of the small tables and let our kids (5 and 11) play at the playground. None of the umbrellas at the tables worked. After we sat down an unleashed guest's dog started running around and threatened my kids ‐ I had them stay on top of the playground equipment to stay out of it's reach. We ended up feeling so rattled and nervous about staying that we found another place to stay. It did not feel safe to stay there with my kids. I understand that recreational Marijuana is legal in New York. However, it is not appropriate to get high on the job any more than it would be acceptable for someone to get drunk at work. We canceled before we were checked in and given a room, so I don't know what the rooms are like.

Room was clean. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Fridge and microwave worked as they should. Second time we stayed here and everything was fine

Checking in and checking out, I had to wait for someone to show up in the lobby to help me. They were out busy helping other guests, so it wasn't their fault. I believe it was probably due to staff shortage
