The Hostel

This hotel is in a great location, just 30 minutes outside the Grand Teton South Entrance. Note that the final stretch of the road leading to the property is narrow and part of it is unpaved when we traveled, but perfectly manageable. There is a large parking lot right next to the hotel. While spots are not reserved for the hotel, finding a spot is easy. Check-in was a breeze thanks to the warm and welcoming receptionist. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and freshly painted with a unique firefighter-themed decor. All the basic amenities like fresh towels were provided. There is no bath soap, shampoo though. While a hairdryer wasn't in the room initially, staff provided one immediately upon request. They also offer a nice complimentary coffee and tea station in the morning. Overall, a great stay!

We loved the location and the fun games on the lower level. We thought the bed was comfortable and the accommodations basic (think cabin), but absolutely what we needed. We definitely would come back.

We were prepared for a disastrous stay based on some reviews. Simply not the case for us!
