    We had a great time at the strand. We enjoyed the ocean view. The only negatives I would say is that is gets quite busy at breakfast with everyone packed in there and the rooms could stand to be dusted. Breakfast buffet was very good. For the price, view, and close to the fun I would stay here again.

    The property is a little dated. Good value to be right on the beach. Don’t expect anything grand, but the staff was friendly and the view is great.

    Webt to Myrtle Beach with our family with young kids, and my parents who are visiting the US. We booked for a night at the Strand and it surely did not disappoint. I wish we had more time and booked more nights. The room was very spacious and pretty, fully equipped with everything we need and more. The view was amazing and we spent a good amount of time enjoying the beach, the pool and all the other beachfront amenities. That short vacation was worth our while. We all loved the breakfast spread. The staff were kind and helpful. Special thanks to RB who I got to communicate with ahead of our stay, they sure helped us make good memories at Myrtle Beach. And to Martin at the front desk who was very patient and friendly as he checked us in. Definitely would recommend!.. Will make sure we stay again at the Strand the next time we come to Myrtle Beach.

    Staff is not helpful. My they are horrible with room compatibility I booked for a couple on a high floor why am I on the third floor in front of the lazy river I’ve heard children playing and screaming all day it’s annoying no microwave or refrigerator in my room so I had to throw leftovers out or eat all of it at the restaurant and ice is on the 9th floor and 16th after going back and forth and waiting for an elevator just to get ice you just drink your wine and water room temp after a while and this computer screen for a tv with basic cable is ridiculous
