I have stayed at Homewood Suites many times in different cities, mainly because they are the only hotels with a ceiling fan, which I love. They also have the best breakfast.
I have discovered the beds are not as comfortable as they used to be, so I'm guessing the mattresses have been changed out. I prefer a softer mattress and these are much firmer, so I have not been sleeping well in my recent stays.

The breakfast was delicious and the rooms were nice.
The shower was clogged so water stood at the bottom of the tub. Also, no dish soap in the kitchenette.

My spouse enjoyed the breakfast. I did not attempt to eat anything there due to grain and dairy allergies.
We did like the kitchenette in our room. It was so nice to have the option to make my own allergy-safe food. Thank you!
This hotel is in a great location and it was calm and quiet.
Our hotel room smelled way toooooo strongly of intense "cheap man cologne" - I am guessing this was some sort of nasty carpet deodorizer.
One other note: My keycard did not allow me to enter the workout room just before 6AM... I had to seek out the front desk staff person to inquire about the issue. I was informed that this has been an issue for a while already. They very kindly walked along with me to the workout room to open the door for me. PLEASE fix the card reader/change battery on this door ASAP. Thanks!
