Baymont by Wyndham Monroe

Large, clean, quiet room.  LOVED the wood floor — so much more sanitary than carpet.  Comfortable bed and good shower with a free-flowing drain, a handy grab bar and convenient dispensers for shampoo and conditioner (would be nice if they could also add one for body wash).   Good amount of vanity space around the sink to set toiletries, and great to have the sink outside the bathroom which is more convenient for 2 people. Lots of electrical outlets to charge devices.  Easy parking and easy check-in.  Great staff — Ro at reception was very welcoming and Kash was helpful later in the evening.  Excellent price — far better than other area lodging.

Our room was on the highway side of the hotel and the traffic noise didn’t bother us but light sleepers might want to request a room on the other side.  We would definitely stay again and highly recommend this property to other travelers.

We loved the pool abs that it was close to the Toledo zoo and had other things close by. The first day we also went to the GNR adventure center, which was close by too. The breakfast was great n always filled up.

Some of the things could be cleaned a little bit more Vents in the room were very dusty, tub needed a good scrub and around the pool area I had to continually ask for towels. Outdoor areas needed some garbage picked up but seemed like a safe area.

Breakfast was simple but fresh and tasty, pool was very nice, lots of towels in room. Room has older furniture and fixtures, but was comfortable, clean and fresh smelling. Air conditioning worked well. Bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly.

No maid service on second day, wet towels left around in hallways and pool area for along time, lots of smoking outside which I could smell, tons of cigarettes butts and empty cans in parking lot. Hair dryer, refrigerator, ice machine did not work, has to get some from desk. Phone in room was not connected to anything.
