I will never go back to Ramada again, bad experience

The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable

There was a lot of things that I did not like at Ramada. They had no microwave in the rooms and I found out the hard way. The refrigerator did not work too good, Also, most of the parking was in the back and they had too much unnecessary landscaping

Great Value

I am a vendor at sportscards/Memorabilia shows at the Santa Clara Convention Center and the Marriott hotel nearby. I stay at this Ramada every time, can't beat the value.

Overall great location within walking distance to restaurants.

People were nice and very attentive staff although we did get a room with a TV that was not working 😒 maintenance did their best to try to fix it. All I would say is please make sure next time things are working properly before you give a room that you know the TV hasn't been working for a while. They did offer us another room but we had already unpacked. And they couldn't swap TV due to being over booked. Overall we did have a great time the room is very comfy and clean and the prices are very reasonable.

Stay away from this dirty hotel -

Nothing was acceptable about this hotel - the room was absolutely filthy. I could not stay there. Dirty walls, hairs and stains on the sheets. Soiled stains on every piece of fabric in the room - the bedding skirt, the mattress, the chair upholstery all soiled, needing to be steam cleaned. An old granola bar wedged btw the mattress and head board. Scuffed walls, wall trim shredded by dogs and left unrepaired. Ancient fixtures. Hairs, dust & grime on the wall trim surrounding the old formica countertop. Dirty lightswitch plates... the lobby was dated and everything looked dingy, the whole property needs new paint and a down-to-the studs remodel. Questionable clientele checking in without luggage. Garbage in the parking lot. Do not stay here - go across the street to Mirabaux Hotel (nice!!). This is called a "Ramada" but its way worse than an old Motel 6. The pictures online do not represent the "room" we were given. I canceled our reservation and immediately checked out. This motel should not be listed on Booking.com.

I have never seen a more filthy, unacceptable hotel room in my life. Human Hairs on the sheets. Stains, scuffs, and fingerprints on the walls. Water marks (from gasses) on the furniture. Looks like it hasn't been properly cleaned (or painted) in 3 or 4 decades.

I liked that the hotel was close enough to walk to if Uber wasn’t available. It was clean, quiet, and the front desk staff were friendly—they even chatted with my husband about the game. It was also nice that they spoke English, had Dove soap products in the bathroom, and a cute little fridge in the room. I also really liked the area. On the backside of the pool, there were a few chairs where guests could sit and relax. Since there’s no smoking in the rooms, my husband appreciated having that outdoor space to smoke. It had a nicely set-up scene with trees, plants, and flowers—giving it a bit of an exotic feel. We also really enjoyed the free breakfast. The sausage, eggs, and oatmeal were great, and the toast was surprisingly delicious—a nice treat before hitting the road. We had a long drive home after the 49ers game, but it was definitely worth it. I had a great time, and the manager made the experience even better—he was professional, kind, and took the time to speak with us. Can't wait to return next year!

Spacious but dated room with comfortable bed

Nice spacious room with a comfortable bed and decent cushions. The swimming pool with hot tub was nice. I liked the fact that they only cleaned once every three days. It's not needed every day.

Not everything was well maintained. Some of the tiles in the bathroom were loose and the knobs in the shower were half broken making it difficult to figure out which knob did what. The breakfast was ok, but only had sweet options, no ham or cheese to put on your bagel and also the yogurt was very sweet.

Quiet and clean

It was close to my destination, staff was great, clean and most importantly quiet. My family drove hours to get there and we got a good night's rest. Check in and check out was fast. I would recommend this hotel.

Clean and good for ONE night stay.

The staff were friendly and tried to fix the issues. Breakfast was good. The room was clean. I believe the staff did the best they could with what they had to work with, but the Corporation needs to step it up.

Tv did not get good reception, so they moved us to a different room. The new room TV reception worked for a day, and then was intermittent at best. The bathroom tub faucet would not turn off, so it remained on continuously and could be heard during the night. The bathroom had ants. Two nights in a row, there was the sound of a gun shooting from the neighborhood. Never heard the police. They only have room service every three days, which, when there is no exhaust fan in the bathroom, makes your towels damp all the time.

I like the location, my family enjoyed the pool.

I don’t like to complain, however when I’m paying to stay the night I do expect it to be clean, it wasn’t. I found a head band on the floor, there were stains on the walls, spiderwebs also. The skirt on one of the beds was ripped, and the showerhead was not secured properly against the wall. I went to the front desk to complain, and I was told there was nothing they could do about that. I asked to speak to a manager and a manager was not available and would be back on Monday after I checked out. During my stay the cleaning lady skipped my room, I took out my own trash, I had to ask the front desk for towels, there wasn’t enough in the first place for four people. The cleaning lady wouldn’t give my any. No hospitality from her whatsoever, I stayed two nights, I just expected my room to be cleaned properly before I check in because then it makes me feel that it wasn’t cleaned properly when I find someone else’s things in my room. I took pictures of everything upon arrival. It’s a great location, I just feel for the money I spend I expect the room to be clean, good service.

the bathroom i didn't like it at all, there were ants all over in the bathroom and moreover there was no housekeeping for everyday cleaning in the room and weird answer by staff came out that we do have the housekeeping once or twice a week only not daily. what kind of hotel industry is this i stayed their for 2 nights and not cleaning no bedsheet change no towels change no trash change no bathroom cleaning i never heard this kind of service in the hotel industry.

The room's interior and amenities

1) The hotel made unexpected transactions from my account for amounts of $200+, which I noticed by accident and was able to reverse after contacting the bank. At the end of my stay, all transactions were refunded, but this caused me problems with the tax authorities in Ukraine, as I paid with a card belonging to an individual entrepreneur as part of a business trip, and because of this I incurred additional expenses of approximately $50. 2) The hotel's location is very inconvenient, there is nothing nearby except a large noisy highway, and it is scary to walk around. 2) Very poor sound insulation in the rooms. I asked to change rooms to one further away from the highway, and this only helped partially, because there are a lot of planes flying nearby, causing me to wake up suddenly every 30 minutes during the night — it is impossible to rest. 3) When I checked in, I asked about the breakfast hours — I was told that it was from 7 to 10 a.m., but on Monday, when I arrived at 9:40 a.m., I was told that on weekdays, breakfast is served until 9: (I was misled at the reception desk with incorrect information, and one day I was left without breakfast when I arrived at 9:30 a.m. 4) If you want to walk to the city center, you will have to go around the traffic intersection and walk an extra 500 meters through abandoned and neglected areas. 5) The pool was closed, and I had to ask the reception desk to open it every time.

Pretty comfortable and the location was great being pretty close to some shopping and California’s Great America, which was the purpose of our trip. It is very close to the interstate but we didn’t find this to be a noise issue. Staff was very nice and allowed us an early check in.

Carpet in the room was really dirty and the bathroom was also not very clean or very big. There were mysterious hairs on the shower walls that were not ours. Cleanliness was our only gripe with the property.

Great location, very clean and loved the garden in the courtyard.

This was a last minute booking for just 1 night to get some rest while we continued our long drive. The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel looks very industrial from the front side and was pleasantly surprised by the well kept property. Loved the garden in the courtyard, it was very peaceful and easy to forget it’s near a busy freeway.

The only thing I didn’t like was the breakfast (potatoes under cooked, flavor was ok on most things). Very few hotels have a decent breakfast though and this is not a deal breaker. I would def stay here again.

Don't expect much

Good water pressure in the shower, beds were decent enough for a one night stay. The only reason I'm giving it a 3 is because it's barely a step above a motel 6 and they offer breakfast.

The types of rooms that were advertised and reserved on the website are not actually available, very misleading. The rooms had a bunch of cobwebs all over the ceilings and walls. The shower had no curtain, so water got everywhere. Didn't say anything because it was only a one night stay, so why bother. One of the room keys didn’t work. Was told by the front desk that we needed to lower our expectations when we told them about the discrepancy between the room we booked and the ones that were available. This actually made sense by the time we checked out the next day and became our running joke...you can't expect the rooms to be very clean, you can't expect to have a shower curtain, you can't expect your keycard to work everytime...

It's only 6 minutes away from the convention center. And it's clean.

The breakfast was not the best. To be completely honest, the only thing worth eating was toast with peanut butter and jelly. The waffle maker pancake machine was down. There are no elevators, so you have to let your luggage up-and-down the stairs. I really enjoy having on site breakfast and I paid extra for breakfast that I didn't Enjoyed due to the quality of the Food, if you're not a picky eater, this place is perfect and if you don't mind going up-and-down the stairs a lot.
