The desk personnel were friendly and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The room had a mini-refrigerator and microwave oven, which I did not expect. The sink and faucet appeared to be fairly new. I arrived on a warm day, and it was nice to find that the A/C in the room was already running and the room was cool. All of the lights appeared to be fairly new LED fixtures. The room had a combination dresser/desk under the TV and a sturdy table in one corner near the fridge and microwave. The TV worked well. The room was stocked with a hand towel, a wash cloth, 2 bath towels, a bath mat, 2 bars of soap, and 2 nearly-full rolls of toilet paper.
There are several restaurants close by (I went to Village Inn and Taco Bell) and a Casey's gas station & convenience store.
Easy access to Interstates 80 & 680, US 275.
I had a little trouble finding the motel the first night because I arrived very late. Their sign was not lit up and is up so high that my car headlights did not hit it. Even though the room lights were very nice white LED type, I found myself wishing that the ones in the main part of the room were a little bit brighter. (The ones in the toilet/shower and sink areas were excellent.) The shower head was either a low flow design or possibly partly plugged as it didn't seem to deliver quite as much water as I would have liked.
