The hotel was clean and front desk staff were friendly. The bed was comfortable and the room had a nice sized refrigerator

Coffee 24/7! Friendly cheerful staff. Squirrel and birds cavorting by the front door. The room was basic space, all I need is bed and bath. The other guests were plain people like me. Free wifi! The pancake machine is cute and entertaining.
I wanted a hot soak in the tub but the drain stopper didn't work and the tub was cracked. Great shower, though. I was in 125. Sounded like the workout center was directly above. But the noise settled down by midnight. Turned off the fridge, it was noisy, nothing in it. I never sleep well away from home anyway.

Room was clean and smelled very good, unlike the Super 8 in Aurora/Naperville both rooms reeked!!
Clerk never set up dining area, chairs were left on tables and guests needed to remove and place all chairs if you sat at a table…..he looked like he was asleep and had attitude on a request about pancakes…..otherwise other personnel were gracious, helpful and polite!!
