My wife and I stayed at this hotel before I had the ocean view but if you don’t pick the end corner ocean view, then it’s not very good. The inner ocean view front are not good because the sink for the bathroom is literally in the closet. it’s where you hang the coats and is very small. There’s hardly any room to put your bathroom amenities. I think the price is the same as a corner unit but is way different. The corner units have a way better window to view the ocean and a full bathroom. I won’t pick the inner ocean view again.

The hotel staff (David) was extremely friendly and professional. The room - king bed, ocean view, hot tub was very clean and well appointed. While the bed was a little soft for our liking we still slept well with minimal road noise or from adjoining rooms. Overall a great stay. We've stayed at just about every hotel on Moonstone Beach and this hotel is right up there with the best of them.

The rooms were clean and nice. Parking was convenient. Location is unbeatable. Moonstone beach/path are right across the street for an amazing morning stroll.

The location was perfect. Loved our view. It was great having our dog with us! There was hot water and coffee in the lobby every morning and snacks for everyone to enjoy

The hotel is located by the Moonstone Beach. It was beautiful to be able to see the ocean right outside the hotel and there is a nice walking path along the beach which we could not go because of having 2 children with us. I can imagine it would be lovely to take a walk during sunset. The front desk hotel staff was very friendly. He was kind to my 2 grandchildren. I told them in advance I am allergic to animal hairs. He told me they had done extra careful cleaning before I arrive and asked if my stay was ok when I checked out the next morning. I confirmed to him that I did not experience any allergy attacks throughout our stay.

Stayed in room 212 which was fantastic location with no one above or below us and also had no attached unit on east side so we heard virtually no noise from others. Room was spacious with heater, clean bathrooms, microwave and refrigerator. Also had access to hundreds of channels and movies to select from.

Give the bed a 7 out of 10-

I loved this property, it was so close to the ocean, the rooms were very clean, spacious, beautifully decorated. We were all n room 305. It had a fireplace and jacuzzi tub. Very comfortable and close to amazing restaurants and shopping. Boutiques and Art galleries are near by. You must stop at Moonstone beach bar and grill. There Clam chowder and fish tacos are the Best! It is right next door to Cambria Landing inn and suites. Also a short drive to east village on Main Street in Cambria, we ate at Luigi’s Pizza, we had meatball sandwiches they were so good! We also ate at Main Street grill, they have the best BBQ in town, also don’t miss The Spot! They have a variety of organic farm to table food. Fresh squeezed juices, smoothies, crepes, and there breakfast potato’s are the best!the Hotel also offers coffee, hot chocolate , and hot water for tea as well as complementary snacks and fresh baked sweet breads in the lobby.

What would make the stay better is if they had more hooks for the towels and for personal items like a robe or for your clothes when getting out of the shower. But that is all

The amenities, friendly staff. Location was really nice . Wished it wasn’t raining that hard , we would have enjoyed our complimentary partial ocean view

The WiFi . We couldn’t sign in even though we followed all the instructions. No phone services at this location. So WiFi is important . Messages was sent after 6 pm didn’t get a reply until the next morning .😟

Close to beach and restaurants can just walk. Fire pit while taking in the ocean view. Clean easy access to room good parking.

The traffic noise deliver early to restaurant next door. Could not adjust heater, no fan in room. No upgrade (used third party) but rooms were open. Need to trim tree to see sunset at the fire pit.

There was a confusion with our stay. But it was quickly resolved. Everything else was great.

We liked the location right across the ocean boardwalk and next to a nice restaurant for dinner. Close to San Simeon and the Sea Lion preserve. Also, it has two fire pits at the front of the hotel. We had a partial ocean view room and it was nice to hear the ocean from our room at night.

Coffee at the lobby was a bit late. The rooms and Lobby could use some upgrading for the price they are charging.

This was a mid-week "getaway" stay on Moonstone Beach Drive in Cambria. Always one of our favorite places to go for a mini vacation. With the excellent weather we had, it turned out to be an exceptional trip. We would definitely stay there at the Cambria Landing Inn again in the future.

There lobby closed early. Coffee and creamer was kept out to long without keeping it fresh.

Sketchy coffee service, sticky room door, very few power outlets, no robes (unless asked for), and the innkeeper (David, while friendly, was so talkative, it was hard to get a word in edgewise.

It was across the street from the beach. There were 2 gas fire pits out front near the street. Listening to the waves at night. The place was so clean & comfortable. Had a fire place & in room sauna for 2. Great restaurants near by, one right next door. Plenty of parking, we parked right across from our room. Our room had a small patio & chairs in front. Overall everything was excellent.

Needs a designated smoking area. The manager though, was very accommodating.

Instructions how to use the shower, didn’t realise you have the put the handle out of the wall to get it to work, luckily another guest showed us as no one was at the desk No tea making facilities Trouble with key card for the room

Amazing location with the most incredible views, this is a good standard of accommodation with comfortable beds, good space and amenities.

Bathroom was a little tired and one of the hot tubs didn’t seem to work.

We had the best ocean view possible.

Toilet seats had holes in it(unsanitary). Staff fixed it. Curtains had stains, ocean view was blocked by cars due to restaurant being next door, bath and shower from upstairs very loud, when we sat outside there were seven bags of dog poop sitting there. Tv did not work until I fixed it. I would consider the cottages but would never recommend staying in the main part of hotel. Very overpriced

We stayed last October in this facility. The room we had this time was inferior. We paid the same amount for more. Also, your site wasn’t clear about amenities.

The room. The bathroom door was damaged. The room was hot and stuffy with no air conditioning. Our window looked out to the parking lot.

The location was amazing!

The location was perfect! Right across the street from the beach with the symphony sound of the ocean.

Location was great and matched online description. Quiet. Cozy. Clean.

The lack of receptionist after 6pm. And having to have contact another property for things like towels.Also the receptionist doubled charged us and luckily another receptionist caught the mistake and balances it out. Had we not asked for a check out receipt, I would have had to deal with this after check out.

The floor needed to be mopped and furniture needed to be dusted.. did not smell disinfected. 😷 Wall heater unit needed to be cleaned and dusted. Furniture chipped and looked warn. Bed not made well. I was hoping for clean sheets!😬 I dusted and disinfected all the handles table. Not sure if a cleaning person knows how to clean and disinfect a room. I asked for extra towels and she didn't understand English. Do you train people to use more than one towel to clean a room? The toilet did not look disinfected?? I disinfected as much as I could.
