Courtyard by Marriott Pittsburgh West Homestead Waterfront

Have stayed several times. Great location with things to do and places to eat within walking distance.

No continental breakfast...also the sheets were not clean.

The location

The pool and spa were not available. We were not informed of this until we were checking in. Although the hotel gave you the option of a full refund so you could book at another hotel. It was the weekend of the NFL DRAFT so there were no other options.

Location is the best when wanting to be out of downtown Pittsburgh. Beautiful area and quick to everywhere.

I reserved a king/sofa room through Bookings -- 2 nights at a Courtyard cost over $1,200. When I booked a third night directly, the room was $300. With a third-party booking, I was assigned a room on the front of the building directly over the main entrance and between the elevator and ice machine. The spotlight that eliminates the building is placed directly outside my 2nd floor room, on an ugly ledge and it shine directly into the room. The balcony (2 ft wide) looks onto the spot and a main entrance structure. Ridiculous overall. No more 3rd party bookings for me, because management doesn't seem at attentive as when I book directly (and for less money).
