Courtyard by Marriott Denver Southwest Lakewood

Easily accessible, we traveled to Wheat Ridge everyday for family while we were there. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. We arrived very late and when we checked in our TV didn’t work in our assigned room, they gave us a new room right away, no problems.

The beds were not that comfortable, pillows were great and I’m a pillow snob, but the beds were a little hard. The pool area needs some attention, it was great it was open till 11pm and the hot tub was a great added amenity but it was extremely slippery around the pool, there were a lot of children there that weekend and many just left dirty towels around instead of putting them in the buckets. Parents should have been making sure that these were taken care of but they hadn’t and staff had not cleaned up at all in the pool room. The mini fridge in the room was basically a light with a fan, did not keep things cool at all. We used the ice bucket to keep a few drinks chilled and even putting that in the mini fridge did not help keep the fridge cold. Wish the lobby had at least free coffee on hand, the coffee at the Bristro was sub par and expensive.

Beds are comfortable. Clean and well taken care of. Clean nice towels.

The staff were so friendly and accommodating - given we arrived jetlagged and delayed at midnight, we were happy for such a helpful and kind reception. The pool and gym are useful when you are staying at a hotel for a week. Parking was full the first night, but they found us overflow parking (no cost) the rest of the days, there was plenty of parking.

Breakfast is a limited menu that is just reaheated items.

It was conveniently located and they had nice tvs with an option to sign into your own Netflix account.

The outside was messy, lots of trash everywhere strewn about and in the bushes. When I had gone to move my car so I could see it from my window, the spot I pulled into there was a couple inside a car having ~fun time~. It made me feel very uncomfortable and not entirely safe leaving my car there overnight. The fridge in my room also did not function properly, it was barely cool and it was very tiny. It was more like just a beverage fridge.
