Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Key West

Great location and pool and free transfer to centre was great

Breakfast facilities where basic and would have been nice to have option to have AC while eating breakfast

The property was beautiful. The landscaping was very nice.

Was disappointed when I was told that we had free shuttle to downtown, but we would be charged $25 since we went through Booking.com so we continue to tell the front desk that we would not be using the shuttle. I asked for receipt for our stay and received one and I was charged for shuttle every day when I specifically said I was not going to be using the shuttle. When I called the front desk to ask why these charges were on there they said they were shuttle charges when I explained what I was told about being a third-party booking and it would be an extra charge instead of free like all the other guest instead I paid for a trolley and use taxi and Uber. I do not feel like I should’ve been charged for this shuttle fee and I have never felt so degraded at any hotel that I’ve been to. I have used Booking.com for a long time and never had an issue like this. I am a BonVoy member and decided to use the Fairfield because they are in their chain. I feel like I was scammed by this Hotel

We thought the room, property and staff were terrific and we realize it was a busy time but $600 for a standard room one night stay seemed ridiculous.

The price

The room was clean and the pool was nice and very clean.

The fitness center was closed and that was not disclosed prior to arrival. The fitness center and pool were the 2 main reasons I specifically picked this hotel and so it was very disappointing.
