Location was good.

Room had fair amount of humidity with loud air conditioner difficult to control temp. They left two waters on bedside table that had a $5 stamp on it. When I returned one stating we didn’t want it, they charged me for it anyways after check out. $10 plus tax on one water my husband drank before seeing the cost. Manipulative and over priced.

The stay itself was ok, but I had an issue with a service that was not honored. Breakfast was listed as included in my reservation. However, at the firt day 09/02 we were told there were no vouchers available and that we would receive a refund for the breakfast not provided. Unfortunately, we have not received the refund so far. I hope the hotel can resolve this situation.

Timeless charm and Charming Staff

Have stayed here previously and Love the staff and location.

Only item that needs improving is the in room AC unit. It was the last time and again in this room, very noisy. And because of that, if you are watching TV, it has to be even louder. I know guests in adjoining rooms have to suffer from this. Time to invest in new ones. Yes, expensive, but at close to $400/night in the OFF season, it must be done.

The interior of the rooms and the location of the hotel was nice. We also could park around the corner.

Relaxing. The happy hour was a nice surprise

The customer service - from the front desk ( thank you Sky) to the pool, was exceptional. It made me want to stay and be a part of the team! It was apparent they worked well together and respected each other. I felt safe, comfortable and enjoyed the quiet time. I just can’t say enough about our experience and will definitely recommend Fritz Lodge to others. 5 stars

should not have stayed there 3 nights, one was enough

really there was kind of nothing that we liked. perhaps the convenience to restaurants and duval st.

we arrived and knew we were too early so we walked around and waited for our room to be ready. few hrs later they let us know it was ready. the room appeared clean but as we unpacked, there were hairs all over the beds...in the bathroom hairs in the shower, floor was filthy. we said something to the ladies who clean and were told the one we spoke with was new and she would come back and clean....still the floors were filthy and sticky. we were very anxious to leave. the staff did not seem to care one way or the other about our room, never an i am sorry or anything. breakfast was a little bag of snacks.

Joys of a great trip

It went above and beyond. If you needed something., it was at your door in minutes. It was so quiet, for a big place, and so spread out, that you didnt realize that there were other people were there. Breakfast was amazing and so was the bar.

Magical and quiet place, perfect location, amazing room, and kind staff. We got an upgrade due to maintenance work and it was very nice of them. I will come back again and recommend it to friends and relatives

I would recommend Winslow’s bungalows to anyone. Five stars!

We actually did not stay at Fitch Lodge. Apparently it was closed for maintenance, so they put us in their sister property at Winslow‘s bungalows. It was beautiful! The staff was excellent. The facilities in the room were excellent as well. My only complaint is that it was further away from the ferry terminal than we wanted to be. That’s why we originally booked Fitch Lodge because it was so close to the Key West express ferry.

As stated above, the only downfall was the location, but it was still a beautiful location, though we had to do a lot of extra walking.

If I were to return to Key West, I would stay at another one of your historic lodges and not Fitch.

The location was perfect!

The pool wasn’t clean or kept up very well. The same type of breakfast every morning except for a banana in place of another type fruit. Where were the coupons for the bakery down the street? The office staff were great, but my shower floor wasn’t cleaned or room swept.

Would return again - considering for my birthday

The breakfast bag - adorable and super cute loved that. The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious, showers were large and roomy. The shampoo conditioner and lotion scents - and how my hair felt afterwards- 10/10 I already looked up the company to see if I could order the set - the website doesnt list the Soaps! Obsessed with the marine scent and it was PERFECT for the location. Walkable distance from downtown and close enough to even get to boat tours and ect if you arent limited mobility.

The back side of the sliding door was a little dirty - but I can see how it would be easily missed, the grout in the shower could use a touch up, and the ac was condensing liquid dripped on the floor making a small puddle. The tv wasnt a smart TV to allow me to cast my own TV shows. None of these were truly unacceptable but all would have made a slightly better impression.

Broken AC

Beautiful property and room close to Duval st.

The AC was broken and our room stayed at 85°. They sent someone to fix it but nothing changed. We asked for another room since we were told it would take a few hours to fix. I booked a 2 bedroom suite because we had 6 people and they gave me a double room for all of us, so we had no choice but to stay in the hot room.

I visited Just off season (early May 2025), so the price was not elevated to levels of expense compared to what it can demand during high season. Basically(without doing the math), between a third and a half off price for the one bed “Queen Conch “ room. The location was great. I walked from the key west express ferry station within about 0.2 miles. The property was situated in easy walking distance from the downtown Key West attractions, such as Duval Street and historic interest (if you’re into that). The cruise ships terminal is also within walking distance.

It could be challenging for someone who can’t handle stairs if you don’t ask for a ground floor room.

Not all rooms have a place to sit outside (balcony or porch) and windows don't open. There is a "resort fee". I don't know if it was the hotel or Bookings.com decided to price it this way. Also, it came as two charges to the credit card bill.

Absolutely will be back and will tell everyone what a wonderful location and accommodation this is.

From the minute I walked in the receptionist was so friendly, nice, quick and very helpful for our first visit. She walked us to our room and made sure they worked before she walked away. She gave us a map and circled things that she likes best that we could try. The room was well updated, the beds were way more comfortable than other places we have stayed. We could pretty much walk anywhere within 10-20 min allowing us to not have to fret all the parking hassles!
