The location is very convenient for getting around Traverse City. Our group made excellent use of the pool and hot tub during our visit. I was upgraded to a beach view room for my visit, and I loved having a balcony.
I stayed 3 nights last year in the same room type over the same time period, and this year the price had gone up almost 50%. I understand that prices fluctuate, but there were no substantial improvements to justify that kind of price hike. I had the "do not disturb" sign posted on my door, but they still always knocked when they delivered breakfast. The boxed breakfasts are fine, but I much prefer staying at hotels where continental breakfasts are offered.
