I was traveling to Columbus for a funeral last minute and my wife found this place online and we booked it. The place looks way better than even in the pictures and the pictures do look very nice it's definitely like living a very nice apartment complex as opposed to your typical hotel room. It's actually quite big and there was a full kitchen a full frigerator everything which was super nice. The staff were absolutely awesome and extremely kind. They let me stay in the lobby a few hours after check out while I waited for my flight back home to San Diego which I thought was really cool. I'd highly recommend this place

worst sonesta ever. check in lady lied to me and told me she had no rooms on first floor. when i went to my room, it was dirty like someone was still in there. the nerve....i went back to her and she suddenly had an opening on the first floor. they refused to give me a refund so i had to stay. the manager never returned phone calls. i do not recommend this sonesta

The rooms were nice but when you looked closer they weren’t very clean. Our room had a big stain on the carpet and there was dust buildup in the corners of the bathrooms. They also don’t have a daily cleaning staff. If you stay less than a week you will not have anyone come by to clean your room or change out your towels. You can bring your towels to the laundry room on campus and they’ll exchange the towels for you. Of course this isn’t the worst thing in the world, but it wasn’t what I was expecting.
The staff was okay generally, some staff was more helpful than others. Even when someone is working there might be a sign on the desk saying the employee is away from the desk and you should call the number listed for help.
Another thing that took me by surprise is that the lobby isn’t open 24/7. I didn’t realize that. If you do a late check in, there’s no one at the desk to help you to your room and you have to wait until 7am when someone comes on duty.
The hotel was okay overall but I don’t think I’d stay here again.
