Its location to the college.
The blanket in closet for the pull out sofa was gross. It had hairs all over it. Not sure it was washed recently.

The rooms are large and spacious, and the hotel is easy to navigate. The breakfast was also well stocked/attended by the staff. In all, the staff seemed quite nice and available.
We would have preferred there to have been a little refresh of towels and change of garbage between our first and second nights. Additionally, the pool was freezing (even to our 7-year-old) to the point that we were not able to spend much time there. Our mini fridge also seemed to not be fully in tact/functional. The price was quite high ($275, taxes included) per night, too, despite it being a weeknight, sleepy-time-of-year in Cortland visit.

Clean
They advertise on the TVs in the rooms that you can plug in an HDMI and use a Roku or some other streaming device but it does not work. I called the front desk and they said they shut that capability off. Really inconvenient and I will not be staying here again because of that
