This place used to be one of the best in Sedona. I fear it’s time has past.

The bed was awful. Actually left in the middle of the night because it was so uncomfortable. There were charges to our account that are unknown. Parking was terrible. Barely enough room to back out. Our view was of a door to another room. Supposed to be a nice getaway to celebrate my wife being cancer free. Complete disappointment.

Stay elsewhere, its not worth the money

The rooms are very outdated. They spent more money on upgrading the lobby and dining area than they did the rooms. For the price they charge per night, you could’ve gotten a super super nice hotel somewhere else. Their rooms are more like a 2 or 3 start hotel. The burger I tried was dry, French fries were very good.

A great place to unwind and enjoy Sedona.

The facilities were clean. The property was great having open space to take a walk. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The complimentary coffee was a very nice surprise. The rooms are a little dated but they were clean and spacious. Housekeeping arrived everyday of our visit.

Spooky and enchanting stay

I like that the staff were very friendly and accommodating and helpful. I love the outdoor garden where you can hear the water trickling and the sounds of nature particularly frogs. I liked the jacuzzi inside my bedroom and the big open windows leading to the garden, I love waking up and being able to go straight to the garden and having my own privacy.

I think that the security should be higher around where people are staying on the ground floor that leads to the garden as anybody can walk up to where you are staying, as that did happen to me. After I booked the hotel on arrival I realised the meaning of the hotel name means ‘little devil’ which put me off the feeling of the stay there. The whole hotel feels like horror movie vibes throughout. Also I originally booked a room which on the website displayed a beautiful garden view but when I arrived I had a horrible room that appeared like a motel room which I was not at all happy with so I upgraded to the garden view room I wanted but from the pictures that was originally the room I had booked.

Rooms are outdated, bathroom had dirt stains. For $500+ a night I expected a lot more. The view is OK. Not like the pictures.

Noisy but views were good.

The property needs some renovations. The heater made a racket when it turns on, making a good nights sleep difficult. We asked twice for maintenance to fix it and they did not. We slept with it off. Pretty chilly. The restaurant is extremely over priced. The service we had in the restaurant was exceptional though. One of the best waiters I’ve ever had I wish I had written down his name. We were erroneously charged from the bar. Front desk argued over it. The charges were taken off. Check your receipts! The property was gorgeous spectacular even.

Beautiful location, the grounds are amazing, and the view is spectacular. We dined in the restaurant and the food was delicious and the portions were substantial. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

We didn't get to stay longer and utilize the spa facilities.

Decent hotel with live location but in need of some upgrades

Location with green space for kids to run around and view is nice. Restaurant and lobby were good.

Rooms seemed like they need some work. Shower was not good, shower head needs to be replaced. Doors out to patio are old and screen door had a hole and needed to be replaced. Just was expecting the room and hotel overall to be a little nicer based off website photos. I wish the pool had a view than being just in the middle of all the buildings.

Beautiful hotel, bad management.

Beautiful peaceful sourriundings, beautiful views from room to garden. William from reception is marvelous.

To my surprise, the hotel advertises itself, with a complete Spa (facial, haircoloring,manicures, massages, wraps, scrubs)which they do not have. They only have massages. And when said to one of the managers, when checking inn, that the spa and garden were the main reasons I booked this hotel...she said, well you can just go and book another hotel. Some in reception are not helpful, or to get fix something in your room(have to wait 5 hours to come, you can't leave, because the glass door to terrace, won't close. And when finally is fix, it's done wrong and they have to come back again. Some housekeeper keep banging your neighbors door, they wake you up, even on weekends. For 3 concecutive Sundays was woke up at 8.30am The restaurant has high prices, for what they offer. One waiter, when paying, choose himself the tip.

Overall, it was “ok”.

Very pretty location

The wait staff was way too short on Easter morning. We had to wait about an hour and a half to get our food, after they told us it would be about 10 minutes. Just be honest & tell us the truth next time. We would have went somewhere else.

The restaurant was out of a lot of the main dishes. That was pretty disappointing. Also, when we let house keeping in, the didn’t clean, make the bed, or anything, just hung up new towels. Also, none of the plugs in our room worked. We had to charge our phones off of the plug on the vanity mirror.

Beautiful property. Garden is the highlight of the resort.

Breakfast was ok but service was not good at all. Our breakfast came after a 1 hr long wait. Guests on the other table next to us came 25 mins later and were served and finished eating before we even got our food on the table. My 4 year old was so cranky and hungry but nobody cared. After such long wait when the server brought kids mini waffle, there was no syrup! He just left the food on the table and left to attend other guests. I usually don’t complain but this experience was not acceptable. Seemed like they were intentionally avoiding our table. We were given the last corner table when there were couple other tables empty and ready to be seated. There were white worms crawling underneath the table which was the most disgusting thing to notice while eating the food. Be ready to sleep at night with AC unit growling all night. It was so noisy that we had to turn the AC OFF to fall asleep.

Beautiful resort, expensive food & pay extra for a room with a view.

Beautiful grounds! The place used to be a 9 hole golf club. Lots of green grass, trees & ponds with fountains. Pool was nice & restaurant had a great view of the expansive green belt. They had a dog friendly area with a nice seating area.

Our room was supposedly a “courtyard view.” We actually had NO view. It was room 214, we were in a dark hallway, across from the housekeeping storage room. I complained to the front desk & was told I had to request a room with a view when I booked. Be careful when you book. I was super disappointed with the room. The resort & surrounding views were so beautiful but, we had to leave our room to see it. Felt like a kole hole.

Short, uncomfortable and expensive.

The toilet was like a hobbits toilet. Lowest thing to the ground I’ve seen. The ceilings were 7’ in the bathroom and I’m 6’4. Barely fit in the shower.

Ice machine didn’t work and the next one was about 1/4 mile away. The A/C was louder than the TV so we couldn’t watch TV. They text me 7 times before my stay and once at 8am the day of checkout. I’ve stayed at hundreds of hotels and I don’t need reminders. I know the drill. It was like somebody thinks we know nothing about hotels. For the rate, it was a 1 out of 10.

The location and garden are beautiful and very relaxing. The newly remodeled lobby and restaurant as well as the patio are very nice.

We had to wait a long time (too long) to get a table for breakfast. Although the lobby and restaurant are newly remodeled the rooms are a little dated.
