Friendly, economic and convenient place to stay when visiting the Monterey Bay area.

Very accommodating staff. Feels like home. Very easy check-in, check-out. Requested special cleaning of floor and fix of TV. Both were addressed immediately. Daily cleaning, replenishment of towels, etc. The room's heating and A/C were adjusted perfectly. Very easy access to Highway 1, yet in a quiet location.

I think Lighting the entry driveway needs to be added, due to the difficulty in seeing the entry, at night especially. With traffic behind and oncoming, being hesitant really could cause an accident.. Maybe some big white rocks that glow at night. The towels are very small and thin, though very clean & white. I always end up buying & supplying a set for myself when I come there. And now, towels & linens are NOT cheap, I know! Obviously, I like the place because I keep coming back!!!

It was convenient and a cheap stay.

It was the cheapest place to stay at somewhat near Monterrey. And they were accommodating of a late reservation.

The location is very dark at night and going off the property seems a little scary. But overall decent spot. Also the guy seemed really tired but still accommodating of everything.

This motel was very comfortable. The large room looked like it had been recently updated. Outlets were available where they were most convenient. Nice shower. Very clean.

They’ve done a very good job of upgrading an older motel. Everything was clean and felt new. I’ve been was comfortable.

They didn’t have some of the normal amenities like coffee and lotion. They could improve curb appeal , including a modern sign

The location, cleanliness, and friendly staff made my stay work well.

The room that I stayed in was quite small, but sufficient for a place to stay for one night while traveling. The front desk staff were friendly, polite, and efficient. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the heating and cooling worked as expected.

There is some road noise from the highway in front which has traffic all night long. If road noise bothers you, you will find the hotel unacceptable. The rate for one night was very expensive for what you get. Probably priced for location in the summer.

Pleasantly surprised and a very comfortable stay

We were pleasantly surprised when we got our room. The pictures online seem a little dated, and there were definitely improvements in the room. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was great and clean. We especially enjoyed the old time Motel vibe but updated in the room features.

The only thing was that we forgot shampoo and body wash, and there is not any in the shower. Not really big complaint.

There was no coffee or microwave as well as the towels being really old and raggedy . The Heater is new but it felt like it was on a timer and shut down. The same for the TV

It was very quiet I slept great the rooms are a little old fashioned but you can tell they are trying to upgrade.

There was no microwave especially for someone whose traveling for work you just want to get back to your room and eat and sleep. They did have a small fridge and coffee pot. But they never gave me new cups. Lol

Park outside your door.

Very clean and well located for our purpose. This is a step into the past. Remodeled bathroom. Would stay there again. Satellite TV was a little difficult and didn't work for the first 10 minutes. But after that was good.
