    We stayed for one night at the Appellation Lodi--Wine & Roses Resort and Spa. Our room was spacious and the balcony overlooked a creek/waterfall.

    Although the grounds are beautiful and very well maintained the rooms lack appeal. This is our second stay since Appellation bought this once charming resort and spa. Wish you were extremely fond of a minimalist room this is not the place I would recommend. Both visits were very disappointing because we were given depressing handicap bathrooms. The old Wine And Roses was charming and a very special place…..no longer. I do recommend the spa however.
