Location was good and the room/ bathroom was very comfortable and clean. Japanese style, minimalist decoration. The parking is free of charge.
Sometimes the smell of the restaurant was in the hall.

Comfortable, clean and quiet
Bathroom light over the sink was dead, thus it was too dark to apply makeup, also sink faucet was very tight and hard to turn on/off

the breakfast was too Japanese oriented. Usually in California I expect fruit and granola and yougurt which were not

The staff is friendly and accommodating.
I love the Miyako Hotel. I have stayed here every time we visit family in Torrance and the surrounding areas.
This stay did not meet my expectations. The bathroom had hair in the shower and on the floor. The room was so hot, we couldn't get the air to work until the last day of our stay. The furniture is showing age, the wallpaper is coming off the wall, and the carpet is dirty. They set an expectation of a nice hotel, and it fell short.
