    Excellent location! Just walk right on to the Riverwalk. The food was good. There were plenty of choices but some was frozen foods (pancakes, sausage). The dining space gets crowded quickly. The staff was excellent! The rooms are very dated. The building is dated but spacious. The evening reception was nice but limited to chips, crackers and dips. The drinks were great! I enjoyed my stay but for $***+ for two nights it was not exceptional. Room service was actually just “take out”! $106 for steak, potatoes, asparagus, bread and iced tea served in plastic containers with plastic knife and fork in a brown paper bag was not “room service”, it was take out. There was no noise, no people problems. Location was the biggest plus!!! I’m not sure if I will stay there again. I plan on returning to San Antonio for the Christmas Parade this year, so I will shop around. Oh, the room had plenty of space but furniture is old and dated.

    The good: Location and breakfast buffet. Staff was exceptional. Room was spacious. TVs were nice. The bad: Valet parking $55 👀. Happy Hour was busy but snacks were below average. I reserved a King suite but was given 2 queens, disappointed. The bathroom was spacious, but had a very basic bath/shower. The air vents looked dirty, especially in the bathroom. The digital thermostat was old and did not work well. The air stayed on all night even when I tried to adjust it, and made the room too cold.

    The hotel is in a great location but it's not in it's prime anymore and it appears to be getting a bit worn. The breakfast, however, was fantastic
