Denise our front desk girl AMAZING , and our room… PEACEFUL and I was to take the best nap I have had in a long time

Every time we come here the staff is amazing but Denise, has this most amazing warmth of welcoming. Wonderful stay other than some miscommunication

It's always a joy staying at this Double Tree location. This is one of my favorite hotels to book whenever I am in Socal as I find it so convenient location wise in terms of traveling and surrounding food options. I also feel safer here compared to other hotels in surrounding areas as a female traveler who sometimes stays here solo.

During this trip, I stayed from Monday until Saturday. When I checked in on Monday, I asked for housekeeping on Wednesday at 12 PM. This is my first time asking for housekeeping as I usually just run by the front desk, but I thought it would be more convenient to have someone scheduled to swing by. I strip my bed sheets and gather my used towels before 12 PM on Wednesday to make it more convenient. 12:30 rolls around and no sign of housekeeping, so I call the front desk just to make sure I was still put down. They assured me that housekeeping was a little behind, but they will get to me. No problem at all! However, 4 PM rolls by, and me and my partner are kind of exhausted from waiting on the couch for the past 4 hours. I call the front desk again, and they said they will be sending someone up right now. I wait another hour and once it hits 5 PM, I decide to go down to the front desk to see what's going on. I find out that apparently I was put down for Thursday at 11:30 AM. Mind you, I specifically asked for Wednesday when I initially checked-in. When I explained the situation, they called housekeeping to send someone up. They then asked if I wanted to keep the Thursday scheduled, in which I said no because I never wanted it then. They also asked if I wanted it on Friday, in which I also declined. I was supposed to go out to dinner that night, but didn't as housekeeping didn't come until 5:40 PM and I was too drained and exhausted from waiting at that point. That could've been the end of it except on Friday around 3 PM, I get a call from the front desk asking if I would still like my scheduled housekeeping for that day...reminder, I never asked for housekeeping on Friday and I even told the front desk on Wednesday I did not want housekeeping. It was actually quite a bit frustrating that there seemed to be some miscommunication between the front desk staff and their system. This experience has made me not want to do scheduled housekeeping anymore.

The gentleman that checked me and overcharged

I made my wife happy on her birthday.

They charged me a late checkout fee on the day of check-in of $55 which is ridiculous. We checked out on time. Doubletree used to be good. We didn’t get offered any cookies either.

Disappointing and frustrating spending extra money on a "nice" room for nothing.

The room wouldn't go below 71 degrees. Requested a late check out which was honored until noon, but was bothered by staff multiple times to leave within 20 min after the regular checkout time.

My stay was disappointing due to poor cleanliness, a broken toilet, and lack of housekeeping service

The beds were comfortable.

I was very disappointed with my experience. Breakfast was not included, which was surprising for a Hilton brand hotel. The toilet in my room did not work properly and often would not flush. The carpet was sticky, dirty, and had a foul odor, which made the room feel unclean. I requested housekeeping through the front desk, but no one ever came to service the room during my entire stay. For the price and brand reputation, I expected much better. Unfortunately, this stay did not meet Hilton’s usual standards.

No coming back .

Poor staff customer service , no AC , being lied to about being booked for the night , then told there are rooms available to move us . Then being placed in a room where the water in the restroom sink was very little ..

It was a last minute reservation but lucky for me rooms were available. They have a drive way for those carry larger or multiple luggages. Front desk was friendly. Check in was swift. The bathrooms had bath tubs very relaxing after a long trip.

I requested a King bed but received a double bed instead. it was late and I was tired so accepted anyways. Sink had hairs, plastic curtains, and limited channels. No Netflix, etc. if you wanted to watch something good you needed to pay, e.g movies.

One of my favorite spots

Staff was friendly and quick. Everything was as clean as it could be. The cookies were delicious! The hotel has been a favorite spot for my family and friends for the last 20 years. Overall, it was a fabulous stay!

You can tell that the hotel is getting old and see signs of disrepair - old and large carpet stains in the room and around the elevator lounge (ground floor), and scratched/worn elevator doors, and old/dated buttons. It's nice to see they constantly do what they can to keep it tidy (paint and spot treat), but sad to think it could be struggling.

Me and my wife loved everything about this property. It’s very clean up-to-date and the rooms are exceptional.

It’s hard to say, but the only thing I didn’t really like was the pool area didn’t have a Jacuzzi and going as a couple. We were really looking forward to relaxing in the Jacuzzi.

We love the location and its cleanliness. The bedding was white and crisp. The gentleman at the front desk when we checked in at 2am was extremely nice, accommodating and helpful. A big difference from our stay a few months ago.

The mattress could be more comfortable but it wasn’t the worst I’ve experienced in a hotel. The shower basin was a bit stained and it leaked water, but overall was fine. You also had to get into the shower to turn in the water and jump out of the way to avoid getting wet with cold water. Overall the bathroom was clean and updated.
