Fabulous restaurant, Rascal, is 1 of 4 restaurants owned by 2x James Beard Award Winner and it’s the coffee shop/breakfast/lunch/dinner/bar for this property. The spa also had very nice amenities. Fireplace in room!
Stairs were kind of hard to find if you don’t want to take the elevator. A bit pricey but in keeping with the area.

The fire pits and courtyard were amazing. We love the fire place in the room. The resort is beautiful and close to everything. Rascals was always delicious. Safeway right next door was super convenient!
Our check in was a little rough but they made up for it.

Location was superb, the resort feels very open and spacious.
Mixed feelings regarding the staff and how family friendly it was. We were traveling as a big group, arrived with some delays due to our flight with two starving children of one and three. I asked the staff if they had a high chair I could borrow and I received a curt response of: you didn’t bring your own? Later I needed to heat up my milk and asked if they had a communal microwave I could heat some milk for the baby, the answer was again a curt no. Upon pressing they told me that they could give me a microwave for extra charge ( which we did) .
Other staff members were more friendly and willing to help out.

Restaurant was delicious. Beds very comfy.
Staff was ok. Some were bad, some were good. Would expect better staff for a four star and the price

We loved the service - every member of the staff from the front desk to the bartender at the pool was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and bright (we had a corner unit). The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The live musician at the pool was very talented.
Nothing. We had a great time and it exceeded our expectations.

The resort itself is gorgeous. Lots of community/social areas with couches, fire pits, decor, etc. The spa was nice, but very crowded. The location was near west sedona downtown area and also walking distance to a plaza with a grocery store, foot massage place, cafe, starbucks, etc. It was very pet friendly and had dog treats, pet bowls/beds in the room, and the best dog run area i've seen at a hotel (ungated, but no one objected when we let our dog off leash to run around). Our dog found a few dog friends to play with which was an added bonus.
There are a variety of scheduled events at the resort, from guided meditation, yoga, guided star gazing, meditative tea ceremonies, etc. This would be a plus, if they all happened at the scheduled day/time or at all. The guided star gazing was moved from Saturday to Friday with no notice, and we missed that, which was a bummer. In addition, the day we wanted to partake in guided mediation, the person did not show up, and aqua yoga was cancelled. All that to say, don't rely on any of the advertised activities to actually happen, and if you happen to be able to partake in one, consider it a bonus.

Restaurant on site was good. Room clean.
The staff was not accommodating in any way. No calendar of events provided, I had asked for about 6 months for a room even with a slight view; only
To be told right off the bat no. The google chromcast service w tv did not work and maintenance guy said we were “just unlucky.” There was no effort to accommodate any of our requests. Not even an apology which was quite disappointing. When checked out there was no thank you for staying etc. staff acted unhappy to even be there.

The Wilde is a great place to stay if you want a Sedona resort on a budget. They have all the amenities (spa, pool, hot tub, hammocks, yoga, etc.) but not as pricey as others. We got massages at the spa which were wonderful and reasonably-priced. We also ate dinner at the onsite restaurant and loved it! Our room was huge and they gave us complimentary prosecco and chocolates to celebrate our engagement. Location is very central.
The pool area and common area in the hotel were a little worn - many of the cushions had stains on them either from guests or the weather (they are all out in the open and not taken in during the rain). Location was very convenient but also not very relaxing - right off a main road so you could hear cars while trying to walk the labyrinth or relax in the hammocks. It is right next to a Safeway/strip mall.

Beautiful spaces especially the labyrinth and roof too patio. Small enough to have a quiet vacation, not overly busy during the week days.
Drinks were very pricey.

The property was quiet and conveniently located in the center of town. The staff was super nice - Sedona is a beautiful city and probably my new favorite in the entire US.

The room was amazing and cozy. The crystal welcome gift was super valuable. The fact that there was a Tesla charger was very handy for our trips.
The bottled water was not tasty. Anything else was great. There was a Tesla charger that didn’t worked well.

Room was very spacious with a large bathroom, very comfortable and nice patio. Movie night was fun along with other activities. Location is a great location for hiking if you have a car.
No view from the room, adult pool was very small.

Beautiful grounds and excellent staff . The sunset incredible from our balcony facing the mountains. They had an outdoor movie Grease on a large screen in the gardens one evening and it was fabulous and such fun . This was a collaboration with a local cinema / theatre group and will be weekly a different musical every week .

Loved the afternoon vibe at the pool. Great cocktails. amazing live music (can't remember his name).
Parking right by room.
great location - walked to restaurants, grocery store, massage place.
Fun firepits.
Only one sink in the bathroom.
Couldn't book a massage at the spa

We liked: Decor. Patio.
inside room coffee/tea maker was horrible. A traditional coffee maker with quality coffee grinds would've been better.
Need some plates and utensils in the room.

They treated our dog like she was actually welcomed. Not all dog friendly hotels do that.
5.0 / 10.0
Beautiful gardens and rooms.
Cruz at reception, was very welcoming and profesional. And Tania as well. That made the stay tolerable.
Old mini split , as A/C, in the room, did not work well, didn't stop in auto. No Ubs charger in room. Was not able to turn off all the table lights, had to unswitch them by hand, unplug them from the wall.
Rooms are assigned, by supervisor, so you have to stand by her good will and judgement, in this case, she had none.
Was not happy with the room she gave me. Two bad rooms ( no privacy, people from pool terrace in front, noise of music from pool area until 10pm)(The other room, had car noise from street and no privacy, people walking on street in front of window).
Ask for an early check in, and even do, the room was ready, she said it was not possible as well.
Oddly, the hotel asks you a deposit of $1,050 for a week stay, even do, the reservation is prepaid.
That is a 40% deposit of the prepaid reservation.
$150 per night.
Noise of trucks carrying construction things, passing at the side of the hotel, every 20 minutes, from 6.30am in the morning, through 3pm. almost the whole week.
Saturday the hotel had drone flying the gardens taking pictures, so you couldn't be out in the terrace. And on sunday and Friday they had worker painting the garden wall, from very early in the morning, so you couldn't use the terrace either and smell like paint when open window. Gardener cutting grass, with noisy machines, as well, at 8.30am in your terrace.
Every day, there is no privacy in front of your room, in your terrace.
One day the drones, one day the painter, one day cutting the grass, one day sweeping.
Noise from neighboards upstairs and the side next room. Was woken up, almost single day by them from 5.45am in the morning to 7.45am.
Bad combination of loud uneducated guests, with no soundproof rooms.
When call reception, many times about it, the Supervisor said: people are in vacation, they are aloud to make noise.
Very evasive, unprofessional, and irresponsable answer, instead of fixing the noise problem from guests.
