Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Omaha Downtown

Great service, parking right around the hotel, clean rooms, comfortable beds, great free breakfast

It would be great to add some weights to the fitness room.

The room itself was great. Nice, spacious, clean room with everything in working order. The staff was very polite at check-in, check-out, and any other interactions.

While this is not the hotel's fault, it is worth pointing out - Despite being in downtown Omaha, which I assumed to be a good location, the hotel is less than a block away from a homeless encampment and homeless people can be seen wandering near the hotel. The reason I booked the hotel was to be within walking distance of an event just a short walk away, but I did not feel safe walking around the neighborhood, so I still ended up using Uber. I noticed security in the parking lot on one of the two nights I was there, but it definitely took away my main motive for staying here. Had I known about the neighborhood, I would have stayed at a cheaper hotel outside of town and just Ubered to/from the event.

I was given a room upgrade for my time of stay free of charge, breakfast was great and staff was amazing!!!

The breakfast closed down at 10am on a Saturday, and were out of many items, in addition and no coffee was available at 9am. Seating in the breakfast area was extremely worn. Printer in the office workspace didn't work.
