Garner Hotel Salt Lake City Airport by IHG

Breakfast was great. Staff were very friendly. But the room’s air conditioner kept us up most of the night, otherwise I would have given it a 10 !

The air conditioner made the most irritating sound like someone was loudly crumpling paper.i believe we were in room 201. It’s right in the corner as you come off the elevator.

Clean, modern and friendly staff. Great to have the airport shuttle.

Breakfast could have been better stocked but other than that it was great for an airport layover.

Everything was super clean. The fellow at reception was GREAT - helpful, personable, just how you would want to be treated. Beds were comfortable, the shower head amazing and the coffee very good (my only complaint was the Coffee Mate and no real half & half). There was abundant REAL FOOD for breakfast. I was too tired to use the gym, but there was one.

1) no 1/2 & 1/2 for the coffee. 2) Hotels these days are doing these weird "surround the bathroom mirror" lights which DON'T PROVIDE ENOUGH LIGHT TO DO MAKEUP!!! THere is nowhere in the room that has both a mirror and light enough for that. And if you're leaving early, you can't even take your own little mirror (if you were smart enough to bring one) over to the window for natural light. This is the 3rd place I've stayed in lately that had these, and while they are cool looking, they are COMPLETELY DYSFUNCTIONAL for what you need a bathroom sink light FOR! The 8 rather than 10 was about the location, which honestly couldn't be uglier.

Location was good, airport shuttle was used.

Dated facilities, loud air conditioner, very dated breakfast area.
