We chose Econo Lodge for a budget-friendly weekend stay, and while the staff was kind and accommodating, the overall experience left much to be desired.
Pros:
- Friendly and welcoming staff
- Pet-friendly policy
- Clean linens and soft towels
- Spacious, very comfortable bed
- Room included a fridge/freezer
Cons:
- Lobby door is not ADA-powered
- Room had noticeable maintenance issues: damaged laminate flooring, a bathroom door with wet rot, and a non-functional exhaust fan
- Extremely poor water pressure
- No hot water after 10 AM—get your shower early!
- Rusted metal safe in the room
- Pillows were more like throw pillows—not suited for a king-sized bed
- The unfortunate highlight—spotting (and personally assisting in eliminating) a cockroach in the lobby
While the staff was great, the lack of upkeep, plumbing issues, and cleanliness concerns make it unlikely that we’d stay here again.
