Clean. Rooms need updating

Nothin in particular. Room was clean but tired

The free breakfast was delicious. The egg frittata and mini waffles were especially good. The king bed was super cozy; I fell asleep almost as soon as my head hit the pillow. The hotel is about 20 minutes from downtown Rockford, but it’s a quick and easy drive. It’s also located near a lot of restaurants, which made grabbing food really convenient. I was there for the Rockford Ironman 70.3, and it worked out great. The hotel opened breakfast earlier for the athletes, which was really appreciated. It was also very quiet, making it easy to get a good night’s rest before race day. The route to the parking garage for the race was straightforward as well, which made race morning much less stressful.

I’m a bit of a clean freak, so I tend to notice things others might not. The carpet felt a little sticky in some areas, and I noticed a few stains on the carpet as well as some marks on the walls. Other than that, I had a very comfortable stay.

Great location for going to a concert at the Hard Rock. Decent breakfast - eggs, sausage, waffles & other things. Room was comfortable. A noon check-out is later than most other places - we appreciated that!

The hot tub was closed and the pool was very small and didn't look too appealing.

Bathroom lighting was awful
