Don't. Just don't.

The staff member who works late evenings front desk during the friday/saturday of our stay was so lovely.

We had to be relocated because our pipes were leaking in our bathroom, to a room where the TV didn't work and the AC/Heat was extremely loud. I was worried about nearby guests hearing it as well. Second, breakfast has very little portions- my partner and I got down there at 9am and there was little to nothing left, and what was left was bad lol. Third, the pool was FREEZING. The room itself was warm, but the water was shockingly cold. Lastly, a housekeeper from staff was VERY LOUDLY complaining in the lobby to the front desk worker. We had to wait in the lobby for our ride (because our car broke down otw here- it's just been a series of very unfortunate events, and sadly- this hotel didn't help at all). The most annoying thing however, while waiting in the lobby, two employees (idk their job they've just been walking around on their phones being loud), but they both got food, sat directly next to us (facing uss too - so basically staring at us). They were VERY loud, opened their food obnoxiously, talked otp at a volume people across the world could hear, and same with their conversations to each other. Let me add, they ended up putting their person otp ON SPEAKER. Girl get some headphones or find a break room. This was the most uncomfortable, most irritating experience ever. Don't stay here unless all you're looking for is a comfy bed with flat pillows.

Need new mattress

The staff was exceptional. It is very nice to feel welcomed and treated with respect.

The beds were very uncomfortable. i slept in the chair. My whole family was in for a funeral and all complained about the mattress.

Perfect location

So close to UNOH. Just dropped our son off and it was so convenient. We have stayed there several times. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean.

The washing machine was broken which was a bummer. We had hoped to do some laundry after our drive across country.

Old Navy Buddies Get Together.

The staff was excellent, and the check-in was fast and easy. Rooms were close to each other, but as far in advance as I booked, we should have been all three next to each other. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but the windows in 2 of the rooms were FOGGY and needed to be repaired/replaced. The parking lot and front landscape needed attention, quite a bit of trash around the premises. Overall, it was an excellent stay. They had Brownies out the day of arrival, and coffee was also available and very good too. Breakfast was good with good variety and selections. The pool and other facilities looked nice, but I didn't use them due to a foot injury.

Everyone was so friendly and professional. The breakfast was delicious. There were even a nightly treats a couple of nights.

The lobby area was a little chilly. That could have been just me. Also, the room I had, the curtains did not close, there was only a shears. I slept fine, but it might affect someone else.

Lobby was spotless, hall ways clean including the elevator. Room was extremely conferrable, beds were very conferrable, room and bathroom very clean. Staff was great ,Pet room was great they gave us doggie gift bag. Great touch. Breakfast was amazing, somethin for everyone for sure !!

The property was located close to the university we were visiting the next day

The room had a weird smell, the bathroom being the worst. The shower curtain had a sour musty smell. The pool not working and the ice machine was turned off. Also some sort of paint on the windows so we couldn’t see out. And a bag of trash in the hallway

I liked the size of the hotel. It seemed perfect for the location.

I didn't like that the pool/hot tub area was closed off for "renovations" when nothing was going on in there AND there was no mention that this would closed before I booked this hotel. I booked here because of the hot tub, and was disappointed is wasn't available.

Comfort, Kindness, and the Best Breakfast

I had a fantastic stay at Fairfield Lima! The highlight was definitely the amazing breakfast—delicious waffles, crispy bacon, fluffy scrambled and boiled eggs, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, fresh fruits, muffins, grits, and a great selection of drinks like milk, orange and apple juice, plus coffee with vanilla, hazelnut, and half & half options. The room was spotless, the bed super comfy, and the location very convenient. The staff was wonderful—always kind, helpful, and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Needs maintenance

Majority of the facilities weren’t working. Pool is down, the tub in the bathroom drained extremely slow, something was wrong with the toilet and the sink .

Did not like that I mentioned that certain things needed fixed and didn’t get fixed the days I was there

Overall it was fine.

Breakfast was pretty good. Muffins were excellent. I admit that my usual reason to eat breakfast is hash browns or cottage fries. Breakfast was sans potatoes.No problem.

The tub could use some plumbing work. Simply washing my hair while kneeling and bending over to the main faucet filled the tub substantially. In that relatively short time the tub filled 6, maybe 8 inches even though the drain was open.

Tolerable hotel that needs some updating in staff, procedures and facilities.

Asked housekeeper to clean my room when she was cleaning across the hall. She didn’t. In fact, she never cleaned my room the whole week I was there. Exercise room severely lacking in equipment. Pool not open. Decent breakfast with good variation. Coffee was excellent.

Room smelled like BO because the A/C filter was way past due for a change, the key card needed reactivated several times a day and I didnt have anything next to it to cause it to deactivate, need water option on drink machine, ran out of items before breakfast was even over, cable was out due to storm so mgr giving me discount next stay

The breakfast was a good assortment of variety's of breakfast food. The usual bacon, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, cereal's, oatmeal, fruits.

I have stayed here for a weekend in May for 2 years now. The indoor pool has been closed both times. I am going to find another hotel with a pool that is opened next year. The overall rooms are a little more worn down. Not the usual Fairfield Inn & Suites quality.

Upset guest

Close to University

Check in was made to feel stupid, booked thru booking, for 2 rooms for family. Booked I. My name had confirmation in my name. Added my son's name later as a guest in second room. The lady at check in was rude, kept telling me I needed another confirmation number. Which I had, then I thought about asking to look for my sons name sure enough, you had the reservation.... I was very upset, then our TV did not work, no hair dryer the next morning, the bath tub paint was horrible, peeling off. The hole hotel needs upgraded, subpar. Pictures of hotel does not match what you get. Will not stay again.

Close to Campus

The rooms were very clean and updated. We had 2 rooms and they were happy to make sure our rooms were next to each other. We had 2 basic double queen rooms but they were perfect. We were there to do a campus visit for UNOH. If my son chooses to go there, I guarantee this is where we will stay when we visit. The staff was friendly and the beds were comfortable. The lobby was pleasant,comfortable and updated. It was conveniently located near a lot of restaurants and stores.

When we first pulled up, I wasn't sure about what it was going to be like inside. The exterior of the building could use some updating same with the parking lot. We were pleasantly surprised with inside and had a nice stay. They had free breakfast, which was awesome they provided that, but the eggs had a weird taste and texture, and the bacon was thin and limp. Overall, though, that's not really a complaint. Could just have been an off day or maybe just not my taste.

Location

Stayed for five nights and the pool was not working the whole stay. This is part of the reason I booked this hotel. Also the refrigerator did not work, therefore I couldn't save any food. Very disappointed. We will never stay there again. Would not recommend this hotel. Also the Breakfast was mediocre..Staff didn't seem to care about working. Should get a discount for this.
